October has been a frog-happy month.  Most of us have had more than 200% of normal rainfall in the past 10 days; the next 7-10...they look a lot more like October instead of this warm, humid, rainy mess: www.whnt.com/weather/forecast/

"This handsome male monarch butterfly showed up on this cool fall morning. It was nice short visit. Perhaps he's migrating to greener (warmer) pastures? I'm not exactly sure how that works.

Strong storms ongoing and still possible through the evening; see www.valleywx.com for the latest info.  Most of the storms will produce small hail and wind gusts over 40 MPH.
