Nice blog. When I do a runtime analysis (SAT); however; the button you've shown to export the data (sequence diagram etc) does not exist. We're on a 6.06 system. is that because you've used a BAdI to add that button in or are you testing on a newer SAP release?

I couldn't agree with you more - I've been battling this issue for a long time and often don't win because managers tend to side with the ancient developers as they think that some sort of standards document will save them from something...
I hate the 2 or 3 letters of wasted space in object names for the sap module as well and its very rare to come to a client (that I've been to) where they use packages as intended. Normally we are forced to use ZH, ZM, etc - Ridiculous!
Even the official SAP ABAP Guidelines book from SAP Press states that in their research these sort of code and object naming standards are a waste of time and if anything impede the ability to read code.

As a side note this G+ comment box doesn't work properly in iOS for some reason. You can start typing but it seems to lock up if you need to correct anything or move the cursor - weird...  ;-)

Please re-post on SCN as well.
