Does the linkage range depend on the level of the portal(s) or the level of the player?
Sometimes I capture a key with two nearby portals and it says "No linkable portals"

Don't forget, linking will attempt and fail while speed-locked.

Awesome Aussie amateur developer and Aussie Tech Heads Co-host!
Introduction
I have been on several podcasts and a radio show at times.
Currently, I am a co-host on the Aussie Tech Heads podcast.
I was a host on the Tech Webcast podcast. I've also been a guest host on : Tech Talk Radio, Ask MacTalk and the MacTalk podcast!

I’m often found on FaceBook or Twitter.  I’ve dabbled in computer graphics, computer programming, computer music, databases, spreadsheets, documents, etc. I’ve had jobs building PCs, repairing PCs, networking PCs, supporting networks and internet service provider customers. I’ve had jobs running major Sun Solaris and Linux (and FreeBSD) servers. I’ve even touched on routers, switches and hubs. I’ve tried just about every aspect of computer interaction that you can think of.

I’ve programmed in a few different languages from Perl to PHP & SQL to C, Gamemaker Language and shell scripting BASH.

In 2013, I'm enjoying developing a minigame in Java for Minecraft Craftbukkit servers. My game is called Insanity Run and is based on Temple Run.

A friend had a GroupOn coupon for $39 for $122 worth of food. We had a Tapas lunch with Sangria. The staff were friendly and quick. The food was excellent. The environment was lovely. We had a wonderful lunch and would definitely go back for another GroupOn meal. :)

I was here last week to get a couple of vindaloos. My housemate had never had one. I had the chicken and he had lamb. We added in some naan and poppadoms and mango desserts. It came to $40. We both loved it so much we're having it again this week. You should order ahead as it can take 30 minutes to cook.

I go here almost weekly with a friend from work. There's a couple of pool tables and it's always good for a drink and relax. There's many TVs for sports fans and they've just renovated the TAB betting area -- if you are into that kind of thing. They had discount Coronas for a while which is what got us in, but it soon just became our place to visit for a coldie on Fridays after a long week at work.

The staff are very friendly and remember their regulars well. I'm here a few days a week with a friend from work and we really enjoy the atmosphere. It's great to sit on a cushioned bench and chat. Give it a go!

Lemongrass has a nice atmosphere. It's usually rather quiet and you can eat in the large courtyard out the back. We've had a few team lunches here for work and the food is affordable and tastes great.

This place has the best laksa, hands down. I take some guys from work here from time to time. Some are Asian and they love it too! Even my Indian friends from work. You gotta try it out. Delicious. But get in before 12pm or you won't get a seat! Also, make sure you ask for jalapenos or you won't get any ;)
