AutoVoice Discussion  -

Hey all - hope somebody might know the answer, as I've been searching for some time.

Short:
I'm curious if there is a way to cause a profile NOT to trigger if the word "dining" appears anywhere in the "OK Google Now" + verbal command.

Long:
I have 2 AutoVoice Recognized Profiles, both using Regex with a precision of 5. However, OK Google Now + "my verbal command" triggers both profiles, due to many of the same words appearing in both of their Command Filters.

Profile 1: "turn on dining room lights"

Profile 2: "all lights on"

I've played around with the precision (1 - 10 makes no difference). I have a LOT of verbal regex commands that are similar in each profile (to account for anything I might say to turn the lights on or off). However, the one constant is that if the word "dining" is spoken, I definitely won't want Profile 2 to trigger.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

You can set the command filter to "dining" and then check "Command Filter Invert". Would that work for you?

Really, +Google+? You've thrown away the 6 large icons for recently shared-to people in Google+. So now I have to constantly search for individuals by typing?

Love that you added a "Communities" tab, how about a favorites tab that is user-customizable.

Android app opportunities!

Glad to see the +Google Glass Guides are still supporting us. Lost one of my nose pads, yesterday.

A quick phone call and Charles was kind enough to say that they would gladly send out a replacement one for me.

Even a  month out of warranty, and after the program closed to the public.

Friendly service, delicious and delectable treats. There are so many awards in the shop they had to put some in the bathroom! Much better than Max Brenners. Best hot chocolate I've ever had... And I consider myself a connoisseur of such drinks.

Honestly, for custom framing, you'll be better off going somewhere else. We brought our wedding photo here and I made it pretty clear I wanted it perfect, that I would be looking for no defects or problems with the work OR materials. Even stated I was willing to wait an additional week to pickup to ensure it was done correctly. Well, a week later I found that the materials used were cut incorrectly and misaligned. Simple straight lines were at angles and not perfectly perpendicular to other parallel lines. Foam backing? Yeah that had gouges in it that were clearly visible and made it look like a third-rate job. I was told things were "laser-cut" with a computer. Really? Because I can see over-cuts where the "computer" went too far past the corner it was supposed to be flush with. And don't even get me started on straight lines - they actually look hand cut, buy a 2 year old. Needless to say my wedding photo was ruined because it had to be glued to the foam backboard (with the gogues). So now I have a 3rd, nay even 4th rate job done and it cost me way more than most other places. We went with all the best materials and glass because we wanted it done right. And we came here without looking anywhere else because we've known about them for years and wanted to support local business. This is the reason big chain companies are winning - they often do better work for lower prices.

Had a great time here for lunch. Moderately priced specials that are appropriately portioned for one person. Helpful and friendly staff, even when we left a phone, they figured out who paid the bill, and found that number in the phone to call us and tell us we left it!

This is *THE* pizza place in Brooklyn. And I'm not just saying this because I grew up near here and ate here every day. Their Sicilian slices are the best around. If you come to Brooklyn and don't try L&B, you're missing out. Get a half sheet. Sit outside. Enjoy the sounds of the train. Don't forget a napkin. The sauce will get everywhere.

After the fire, the food got much better. It's still no Churrascaria, but well worth the money....if for some ungodly reason you happen to be in Newark, already.
