Born and raised in Portland, I graduated from Deering High school in 1995. I continued my education at Northeastern University in Boston; majoring in Criminal Justice, with a minor in Business Administration. I graduated with honors in 2000 and took some time off after college to live in sunny San Diego. While surfing was not my thing, I enjoyed my short stay in southern California before home called me back in 2001.
I immediately began working at Unum as a Disability Benefits Specialist. I assessed liability in individual disability claims and then managed those claims until hopefully, the individual was able to return to work. The corporate culture taught me a lot; hard work, time management, how to thrive as an individual and in a team capacity, effective written/verbal communication skills and how to quickly adapt to an ever changing business environment. All of these skills helped me to transition seamlessly into a successful real estate career.
I have been a full-time, licensed real estate agent since 2005 and have helped hundreds of clients find success in real estate! I initially worked for a small boutique agency with just a few full-time agents, to now working for the largest real estate agency in the state of Maine, where I have been one of the top producing agents for the past several years.
I was married in 2011 and my wife and I had our first child (a beautiful and healthy little girl) in the summer of 2013. My life has forever changed for the better since she was born. Among other things, I am learning to slow down a bit, while working more effectively and efficiently. Regardless of how long the process takes, I give 100% effort to each of my clients in order to create a lasting, mutually beneficial relationship. I have found this to be a great formula that affords me ample down time and the ability to give 100% effort to my family while I am not working.
In my downtime, I enjoy a meal at one of greater Portland's excellent restaurants, traveling near and far (let me know of any must see trips you have been on) and unconditionally supporting all the New England sports teams.
I would love the opportunity to earn your business and if given the chance, I am confident you would quickly realize why nearly 100% of my business comes from referrals from past clients; I truly care about your success in real estate!
