OJ Made in America: Most Important Documentary Ever For US Citizens
I just watched all 5 episodes of O.J.: Made in America. Calling it extraordinary would be understatement. It's a masterpiece. It may be the most important documentary anyone can watch if attempting to understand and heal race relations in America. Though th...

Hey Jason, Just watched your very helpful video: "7 Tips for Amazon Keywords". Great help, thank you. If you are required to pull a major keyword from each category, and you only have 7 choices, you are almost compelled to stick to the major keywords. Example my novel "The First Rains of October" is a Christian, mystery suspense drama, romance set in a small town. It also features a female protagonist who becomes an adept healer and whose life is a testamony. Wow., lots of categories here. Not to mention its Christian fiction. I'm not sure where to go here. Any ideas of what your approach would be? Thank you. Anthony Barbera

Goodreads has changed the author dashboard since I uploaded books eons ago. This was a timely reminder to return and double-check covers, descriptions, ISBNs, etc. Great stuff, Frances!

Most authors can do more with their Goodreads author page and using the site in general. It's owned by Amazon and packed with avid readers. This book shows you how.

Want to learn more about Goodreads? My newest book, The Author's Guide to Goodreads is available for presale.

Here are some advance reviews:

From +C. S. Lakin: Caballo’s succinct handbook on how to navigate Goodreads not only makes this foray into this huge world of readers simple through the use of clear steps accompanied by screen shots, it includes vital sections that show the best ways to include Goodreads in an author’s marketing strategy.

From +Helen Sedwick: The Authors Guide to Goodreads is the most useful guide I’ve read on how to make Goodreads work for you as a reader and a writer.

From +Jason Matthews: _The guide makes everything simple. Plus it’s fun. Frances reminds us it’s about sharing great books and connecting with people who love discussing them. There are plenty of screenshots to help newbies follow along to make the most of the site and get more enjoyment from it."

Beta readers wanted.
My latest book (#7) is for self-publishing with Amazon, Apple, Google and other major retailers. It details formatting, cover design, creating ePubs, strategies for retailers, marketing and my tips to sell more books. A quick read (~31,000 words) yet packed with advice you can use for new projects and also existing titles.
Reply here or private message me for a free copy. The main objective is getting reviews on Amazon or wherever you prefer to shop.
Thank you :)

I'll be going back for more. Loved the crispy tofu appetizers, one was a little spicy and the other coated in nutritional yeast that tasted a lot like cheese. Super sandwich in the Bahn Momo and my daughter's noodle dish was delicious, vegetables cooked perfectly. All of the sauces are great and they have plenty of vegetarian and vegan and gluten free options. It's not full scale service. You order at the bar and seat yourself but the prices reflect that.

Very nice hotel with expansive open areas, excellent pool area and beach access. Plenty of restaurants on site, and you can take a short cab ride or even take the local bus to access less expensive restaurants in the more happening area just to the north. There are two convenient stores within a quarter mile walk from the front entrance for many common items like beer, orange juice, bottle water, coffee, etc. and even a McDonald's if you want to save some money.

Arguably the best fish tacos we had on our trip though they were breaded so not enjoyable for the gluten free types in our family. Really good breakfast all around and friendly staff, plus unique sauces like coconut-peanut on the chicken tacos. Yummy! Fairly small place so get there early or be prepared to wait.

Love it. Super friendly staff, great coffee and food. Open spaces to chose a spot whether alone or with friends. Comfy cushioned chairs as opposed to hardwood, decent wifi (very good lately), and clean restrooms. My favorite local coffee spot.

Amazing beach, especially the section that wraps around the northern tip and spreads out to the east. Not a long walk from the ferry or a brief ride if you need to cab it. Lots of vendors selling coconuts, jewelry, weaving, trinkets, blankets and more. Rule of thumb seems to be around 50% of original asking price is where many vendors break away from negotiation. Plenty of shops, restaurants and bars nearby. We moved back and forth between the main public beach and some of the private areas around the corner that also had public accesses--found them both terrific.

We had a family wedding here so the food and drinks may have been different than usual and/or partially catered, but everything was terrific. The beach is fantastic, plus the sun sets over the water and low-laying land so it’s very much like watching a sunset over ocean alone. The shoreline is extraordinary for this strip of north beach that wraps around the upper northwest corner of the island with very calm shallows that extend a good ways out. Clear water, easy to see around with open eyes to identify things, which can be difficult in most oceans. Wonderful experience.
