Happy 4th of July!

I’m excited to announce that Millennial Choirs & Orchestras will be performing for the first time in Utah County on Friday, July 17, 2015, at 8:30 pm at the Spanish Fork Fairgrounds Arena.  We will be doing an encore performance of our celebration of God and country, To Be American, as part of Spanish Fork City's Fiesta Days celebration. Over 600 participants from four states: four youth choirs (ages 7-18), adult choir, and full symphony orchestra under the batons of Cory Mendenhall, Cherilyn Worthen, and MCO founders Brett and Brandon Stewart. I'm so excited to be involved in the amazing "To Be American" production.  Successful performances in Dallas and Phoenix have already happened.  If you haven't purchased your tickets for the upcoming concerts in Salt Lake City, Utah or Orange County, California, do it now before they are sold out!

As U.S. citizens celebrate Thanksgiving this week, and with the decline of morals and the current effort of certain individuals and groups to remove our religious freedom and our freedom of speech, I thought I would share with you what President George Washington said on October 3, 1789:

“Whereas it is the duty of all nations to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God, to obey His will, to be grateful for His benefits, and humbly to implore His protection and favor;  both Houses of Congress have, requested me to recommend to the people of the United States a Day of Public Thanksgiving and Prayer, to be observed by acknowledging with grateful hearts the many and signal favors of Almighty God, especially by affording them an opportunity peaceably to establish a form of government for their safety and happiness." I hope we all express our gratitude daily to God and our fellow men.  Imagine what the world would be like if we all did so.  I am so grateful for God the Father, Jesus Christ, the Holy Ghost, family, country, freedoms, church, employment, the beauties of the earth, and so many more things.
