Super Moon over the Remarkables Mountains, Queenstown, NZ...

The moon rose about 40mins later last night than the night before, amazing how fast it appears, blink and you've missed it.. and rather challenging to photography..

Sometimes I wish mother nature had a pause and rewind button.. but I guess thats the challenge of being a Landscape Photographer, alot of the time we have a very short window to get things right.. and a pause button would take away the thrill of the moment.. :)

That's pretty sweet, Jason I'm living vicariously through everyone's moon shots since we were clouded out completely, but I really like this!
I think you win my own personal "most dramatic moonrise" award. Seeing the moon size in relation to something recognsable, such as the mountain, make it super moon status all the more apparent.
