On the 5th at like 9am it peaked where this video was taken, it has now dropped probably 3 inches where I've been measuring but still 6+ inches to go in my garage, and that isn't even the deepest area here.

This place is in terrible shape, dirty, and the pizza is just ok. There is a play area but the toys are literally falling apart. There is a hole in the wall that looks like it has been there a while and it was apparently covered up by a thin board screwed into the drywall but the board was just laying on the ground with sharp screws sticking up. Several kids were playing on it but I moved it. There are also a couple screws sticking out of the walls that could hurt the kids. There is a slide but it was kind of leaning and I was a bit concerned about its strength. The steps to the slide somehow got a big hole and there is really tough jagged plastic that could cause injury. The bathrooms were very messy and we were some of the first customers of the day so I'm pretty sure they rarely clean them. There was paper towels and toilet paper everywhere and no liner in the garbage can and paper towels all over near it and the counter.

I don't know where to start, so I'll walk through the entire process and let you decide: I brought my Truck to Terry's Automotive in Olympia for 2 problems: 1. The master cylinder in my truck had failed, and 2. I had a check engine light on for an air pressure issue in my fuel tank. They replaced the master and slave cylinder and as of now 13 months have gone by and it works perfectly. This was an expensive and difficult job, and so far the work is holding up, but that is all the good I can say. As for the check engine light fuel air pressure problem, they didn't seem to know what the issue was. They basically said they tinkered around with a lot of things and the check engine light went away. They did not replace anything. A few months later the check engine light came back on and I had it checked and it was the same exact problem. It went back off after a few days but then again came back on until I eventually had another mechanic fix it (which they had no problem identifying within minutes that a control valve had failed). Whatever tinkering Terry's Automotive did, it wasn't a real fix. I dropped my truck off at Terry's Automotive after hours and when they called me to give me the diagnosis and quote they wanted to do all kinds of extras including replacing windshield wipers, fluid, and changing my brakes (which were almost brand new). I honestly don't even think they checked my brakes but they just wanted to sell me some extras. I declined these extras, however they did replace my brakes and charged me for them anyway. The first time I went to pick up my truck I got about a block down the road and thought I was going to stall because I couldn't shift (I drive a stick shift) because the bolts that hold the shifter to the floor had apparently been removed during repairs and never got replaced. I returned within minutes and someone ran out and said "Oh, I knew I forgot to do something!" and immediately fixed it. The second time I left I got onto I5 and thought I was going to crash because when I would get up over 50MPH the entire truck would violently shake as if I was driving over a bunch of large rocks. I returned again and they weren't sure what it was, but said it was going to have to wait until tomorrow. It turned out that the brakes I told them not to install had been installed incorrectly and were vibrating and rubbing. It took two days to fix. However, since they had already screwed up twice they decided to lend me a vehicle to use in the mean time. They gave me an early 90s Dodge Caravan that had an ABS warning light on and clearly had braking problems, I doubt it was very safe to drive but I suppose it was safer than my truck was after they fixed it the first two times. The third time I picked up my truck there was a clunking sound whenever I would shift which in the 110,000 previous miles I had never had issues with. I didn't even bother returning because I was on my way out of town on vacation for over a week. Throughout the vacation (road trip) the clunking was noticeable but I was afraid to take it back at this point. I ended up checking into it myself and found that they had not bolted the transmission back in place! So it was able to slide and bounce around on top of the frame and transmission mount causing the clunking sounds. My trip to Terry's Automotive ended up costing me about $3,000+ and if everything they touched worked it probably would have been worth it. Unfortunately in my experience almost everything that could go wrong did, and the fact that their own shop vehicle clearly has unsolved braking problems is a big red flag. I could never recommend Terry's Automotive to anyone. The whole experience was like a bad sitcom and over a year later it still makes me cringe.

Recently I had my starter fail on my car. It was towed to Advanced Automotive for repair which went swiftly. They had it ready early the next business day which was impressive. However, immediately upon leaving the lot my battery light came on. I thought it may be due to trying too many times to start the car and it just needed to charge but it turned out my alternator was fried. I decided not to take it back to Advanced Automotive because the whole place just felt sort of shady and unprofessional. Instead I ended up taking it into the dealership to be looked at and they revealed to me that the starter was not installed properly and a loose wire "likely caused my alternator and a battery cell to fail." They had it fixed and working fine in no time. Also, the mechanic tore off and destroyed the steering wheel cover we had, and when we picked up our car the windows were open (not good considering it rains here all the time) and there was a stray cat sleeping in the back seat when we got the car. I would highly recommend going to B & B Automotive in Aberdeen instead, they are in an entirely different class of professionalism and integrity.

I just bought my 5th bike from LaVogue's Bike Shop, my first one being almost 15 years ago. I can say that it is the same guy running it who was working there when I got my first bike. He knows his bikes and inventory very well. When I walked in I told him what I was looking for (a Trek 4300) and he immediately pointed 3 out to me but said I'd probably be looking for a 16 inch frame which he could tell just from looking at me. He was right, a 16 inch frame is what I needed. He didn't have one put together but he told me he had one boxed that was in the color I wanted and he could have it put together for me to try out. They didn't get to it that day but they had it the next. I liked it and bought it. Went back a few days later and got my wife a bike too. The other 3 bikes I got here were many many years ago when I was a kid and they are still in fine condition despite thousands of miles being put on them over the years. When I am looking for my next bike this is where I'll go. As for pricing, the prices of the bikes I got and the other bikes I saw were below MSRP but still slightly higher than some bike shops charge, not by much though.

Serving: Famously good milk shakes and ice cream, hot dogs, burgers, chicken, Pepsi products. Very amazing burgers, fries, fry sauce, shakes and ice cream. If you love a good old fashioned burger joint that knows how to make seriously awesome food, this is it. I've lived in the area for 14 years and visited longer than that and never heard a bad comment about their food. Just down the road a little further west is the Grizzly Den, they also have good food, better fries (the seasoned waffle fries) but Hum-Dinger's burgers and fry sauce are the best. There is no indoor seating, only two picnic tables outside which are usually not used due to our weather, and less than 10 parking spaces so it can get crowded on a nice day at lunch time. If that is the case I go to Grizzly Den which is a little more expensive but never a disappointment. The Hum-Dinger parking lot is also extremely small and awkward to access from the main road because it sits right at a strange intersection on a very busy highway. The Hum-Dinger is one of those places that when you're trying to decide where to go eat and this place pops into your conversation everyone immediately agrees it's the place to go.
