Oh wow. Apparently Flight of the Conchords was added to Amazon Prime Instant Video last year. Awesome.
Transplanted New Zealanders Bret and Jemaine--a.k.a. Flight of the Conchords--search for romance and gigs in New York City. At a bohemian party, Jemaine falls for Sally (who used to date Bret), but Bret spoils the moment back at their apartment.

Ten thousand years ago, some of our ancestors looked at a cow and said, "We should drink the milk of this animal. Let us change our genes."

Little known fact: Taiwanese people derive nutrition from restaurant food not by consuming it but by taking digital pictures of it.

@SF Bay Area peeps:

What's up with those ubiquitous Santa Cruz Mystery Spot bumper stickers? I mean school honor roll stickers, religious dogma stickers, political campaign stickers, and three letter affiliation stickers I can understand. But what is it about the Santa Cruz mystery spot that makes it a core part of one's identity? Even weirder are the cars that only have the Mystery Spot bumper sticker.

Now i'm pretty convinced it's just a front for a secret society.

The gimmick is: you get a free Mystery Spot bumper sticker if you agree to keep what the Mystery Spot is a secret. :)

Dear +Gmail web client team,

Please continue to constantly move the "Edit subject" option every few months, each time more unintuitively than the last. That's absolutely the most adorable behavior.

Thanks,
Jason

I'm still angry that editing the subject forces me into postcard compose mode because gods forbid I should be able to edit the subject inline when I can edit anything else that way.

Service is slow, environment is kind of dingy, and the food is arguably overpriced, but this is still one of the best if not the best smoked bbq in the sfbay. Edit: Unfortunately, Uncle Franks BBQ has closed down. :(

Not the freshest tasting beans or the cleanest coffeehouse in the area, but it's open to midnight on weekends and is conveniently located. Edit: With the ownership change in 2013, Bay Street is a lot cleaner and more welcoming.

I tend to agree with those who say FGB is somewhat overrated. FGB's main draw for me is the extent of customizability.

Service seems kind of hit-or-miss, but the quality of the bbq is good. Definitely another one of Fremont's "hidden gems". Edit: Unfortunately, the owner decided to retire in August 2012. This establishment is no longer open.
