This is the most promising project to come along in years! Please share this campaign with everyone and help teach the future!

Teach the Future is in the midst of a peer funding campaign to raise $10,000 by May 23. So far we have raised $2,200 of the $10,000 goal (22%) in the first 12 days of the campaign (40%). The money will be used to pay teachers for futures teaching materials in June and July which will be produced and distributed in the early Fall. It’s now time to recruit now. So if you are a teacher who believes that teaching the future is important and you have a little extra time this summer, you may apply to help us develop that material at http://bit.ly/1AGf6ej7. Previous curriculum development and/or foresight experience is preferred, but not required.

We have also amassed a lot of futures material already, but we believe there is still a lot more out there. If you have any activities, lessons, units or courses about the future that you have taught or know about, you can submit it at http://bit.ly/1EaFlee. We receive these materials under the Creative Commons license BY-NC-SA which requires us to say where the material came from and not use it for commercial purposes. In fact, we will distribute the material as a free download in the Fall to anyone who wants it.
So join the Teach the Future movement by applying to be a developer and/or by submitting your material. We look forward to hearing from you.

And of course donate to the campaign (www.startsomegood.com/teachthefuture) so we are sure to reach our goal and send this money to teachers.

"A smart home full of devices connected to each other, as well as domestic robots are closer than we think, according to one futurologist."
London-based futurologist. Dr James Bellini, predicts that our homes will increasingly become digital hubs, and that 3D printed chocolate and robot bartenders may be closer than we think.

Sharing this high level of content for free to the masses really speaks to the age in which we live. This is COMPLETELY AWESOME!

When combined with fully immersive virtual reality when will you really be able to separate fantasy from simulation? Where will we be 50 years from now? Or a 100?

Human brains in a robot body? Uh, yeah that's already happening now. MIND=BLOWN.

"It's amazing how easy..I was surprised.. how easy it was to get a hold of human neurons. We are using human brain cells, about 30 million total in a robot body and we are looking at how the brain develops and how memories form, and so on and so forth.." - Keven Warwick

I love this place! The change of ownership was just what it needed to get that Silverspot feel to it. The prices are super low right now so I'm catching up and watching as many movies as I can before it gets too crowded! I can't recommend this place enough.

Not sure why others had a bad experience, but I just went here (4-4-2014) and these guys rock! They fixed my busted tire for free and gave me VIP treatment even though I was a first time, walk in customer. The guys were super friendly and now I'm a big fan. They didn't even try to sell me anything.

Micah is amazing! Without getting a functional movement screen before I started working out I would have been injured a long time ago. I learned it's all about the form you keep during the exercise and training your body "how" to move and function right and not so much about how much weight you can life. My quality of life and mobility has never been higher!

The guys at Super Suds are friendly and you can't beat the oil change / car wash combo. Being a little on lazy side when it comes to washing my car this place is a real time saver.

The pizza was outstanding, the staff is friendly, and the local music was really cool. The place has a nice atmosphere and a place like a lounge where you can chill and play games like pool, darts, or board games without being drowned out by the music playing in the other room. It's got tons of craft beers and your typical pub food, but you can't put your finger on just one thing, it's just the combination of things that really make this a unique place to visit in Naples.
