- Sorry, tried to post this to the thing tracker community but it didn't go there for some raisin.May 22, 2014
- Hey Jason,
Honestly, the project is not going anywhere fast at the moment, but that's not due to my not believing in it's aims! :) Finding the time and motivation to do what is necessary has become pretty difficult recently. A bare-bones TTN client is there, but the effort to move if from proof-of-concept quality to even beta-test quality is quite a challenge. Whenever I sit down to it I either get embroiled in tracking down a bug, or hit a wall trying to work out all the edge cases of a particular problem.
I've been meaning to write up a progress report for some time, so your post is a good reason to do that. I'll aim to do that later tonight when I get home, but the TLDR will be that the core ideas appear to be sound, it "just" needs a good implementation for people to use and play with.May 22, 2014
- Thanks for the note. I can relate completely, and no doubt something this ambitious is wrought with challenges :)
I've been working on some different domain but similar technical need projects since I last dove into thing tracker, so I'm hoping to be more involved since I can justify learning and applying this stuff more than I could before.
Looking forward to the catch-up, and then we can put our heads together and do some hacking :)May 22, 2014
