The reports of Google+'s death have been greatly exaggerated (again)

Google+ Chief Architect +Yonatan Zunger says there'll be "no big user-facing changes" connected to the reorganization of G+, Photos, and Hangouts that we've been hearing about over the past several days. ¹

His full comment: ²

A lot of misunderstanding and speculation. :) The internal org was renamed "Photos and Streams," because Sundar likes org names that match what the teams do. And since our org includes Photos, Google+, Blogger, and News, there you have photos, plus several streams of content.

No big user-facing changes tied to this at all.

So stand down, gravediggers. This "ghost town" is still alive and kickin', and we ghosts aren't goin' anywhere anytime soon.

"Google will be taking what's become standard measures for mobile payments, including tokenized card numbers for secure one-time transactions (if a retailer where you've shopped using Android Pay is compromised, the crooks get a one-time-use number that's no longer any good). Card data is stored locally, so you'll be able to use Android Pay even if you don't have a cellular connection available."

See, now I can start getting excited.
Android Pay is real, and it's going to power mobile payments across Android. But it's not so much an app or even user-facing feature, as a service that developers will be able to leverage as an API framework to build payments into their own apps. The news comes from none other than Sundar Pichai, Google's SVP of Product, at MWC 2015. He said that Google agrees with the general...

Repetition by Purity Ring

I'm loving this album a lot. This has become one of my favorite songs. It's a lot different from the first album but definitely in a good way. The album officially drops tomorrow.

The Galaxy S6 Edge is one nice looking phone. Props to Samsung's design team. Whether the "edge" features are actually useful is debatable but I think anyone would agree they've outdone themselves in the aesthetics.

I agree. If the Note series didn't exist, I would definitely be considering getting a S6 Edge.

This place is basically useless. Just go to the AT&T corporate store in Hagerstown or Winchester. I spent an hour and a half here for them to tell me that.

Went here after visiting an AT&T authorized retailer. This was a much better experience. The dude that helped me was friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to listen to me instead of disregarding my input (as was the case at the authorized retailer). Highly recommended!

The food here is great. Best sushi in town. Service is usually pretty fast, but one time there was a waitress who was a little too chatty with another customer and took a while to get to us.
