Since there's no official nightly for CM12 yet, what's the best unofficial CM12 (or similar port) for Nexus 4 (mako) that is available right now?

Best as in most things working as intended. Suggestions?

Need some advice.
I'm currently on CM10.1.3 with CWM 6.0.2.3 and  I want to update to CM11. Btw, i'm using a Nexus 4.
What are the proper steps i should take? Is a full wipe required?

There are lots of discussions on various things like the need to have the latest cwm/radio/baseband so i'm quite confused really.

You could read my desperate post to find nexus 4 owners to join another cm11 Rom fork which has promising features, interested? Volunteers needed.. No risk to brick, beta, no alpha, thx in advance!

To anyone here who still uses Google Reader, please sign the petition. Trust me, it's a big change if the API is shut down.

+Jason Chuah I would preferred they open sourced the whole thing, but I imagine its too deeply integrated into their existing infrastructure.

Once in a while I get this weird bug or something that prevents me from accessing the power menu. When i long-press the power button, basically nothing happens. To fix this I had to reboot. And the annoying part is that I've to use an app to do the reboot because I'm unable to access the power menu. Also I'm unable to replicate it because it happens randomly.

Anyone else experience this before? If yes, is there a solution?

Note: I'm on CM11 using a Nexus 4.

Hey guys, I've been getting a constant 180mb data being used up by Google Services in the background each day since Aug 2. Apparently it's the 4.3 OTA file trying to download itself onto my phone which is still on CM 10.1 (4.2.2).
This is seriously annoying and I can't find a real legitimate solution to this. Btw I'm using a Nexus 4.

Anyone else here having the same issue?

+Jason Chuah It turned out that sometimes the OTA download service obtains a wakelock before it gets disabled. That wakelock does not get released when disabling so you end up with a wakelock that never gets released, draining your battery as a result. That change fixes it.

Moving to Melbourne?  -

Hey guys, i'll be moving to Melbourne in about 2 weeks and would like to know which home broadband should i get? I've noticed tht Dodo is the cheapest but many ppl tell me tht it's no good.
I prefer something decently fast (~5Mbps) and doesnt cost more than $100/month.

note: i don't really need a landline.

Any comments or advice?

Internode give you free usenet access although they no longer advertise this. If you're with them you can get the login detaild from whirlpool. Good service too.

I'm curently running CM10 on an S3 (international version GT-i9300). For some reason the recovery is CWM 5.5.0.4. Probably ended up with version 5.x when i rooted it a long time ago.

What is the most foolproof way (and simplest) to flash the latest CWM touch 6.0.3.0 permanently?
Btw, I also plan to upgrade to the latest CM10.1 nightly.

Sorry but i ain't a fan of TWRP's interface even though it's supposedly more "touch-friendly". In CWM i trust.

Android apps that have sliding menus should enable gesture swipe (eg. SeriesGuide app). The way it's implemented in the official +Google+ app sucks!

Called this shop and the staff who answered is super rude. I had to repeat myself 10 times and then only he understood. Is he deaf or what? Prices are still okay (if u dont need the receipt some items can be lowered in price) but generally not considered cheap. 1 star because of the terribly rude and ignorant staff. Avoid if you can.

For espresso-based coffee drinkers, this place is the real deal. The coffee is top notch! Highly recommended.

Very interesting cafe location in a dodgy looking lane but produces really nice and tasty pulled pork bagel. Besides the nice touches in latte art, the coffee actually has a good kick in it too.

A place filled with coffee geeks who are passionate about well... coffee. Great place to learn from the very friendly and knowledgeable baristas. It goes without saying that the coffee served here is of exceptional standard.

Baked eggs are creative with the swirly chips but they could be more generous with the chorizo portions. Service is appalling though with the food taking ages to come out of the kitchen even though it was a quiet weekday with almost no crowd.
