I'm trying to picture a video of a head to head between Bolt and the 12 second Burke, 20 meters, ~2.5 seconds behind. A superimpose video would be interesting, like what NBC did with the gymnasts.
Bolt is averaging 37.4 kph (23.2 mph), while Burke is averaging 30 kph (18.6 mph), so that Bolt is 25% faster than him. Next time you're driving at 55 mph, see how much faster someone seems when they're doing 69 mph, and that's the same relative speed difference.
