Sweet! The Old Spice Guy plays the "Awesome CIA Agent" in the 4th season of Chuck. For that reason, the show is even more awesome.

Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. +Google Chrome doesn't check for revoked SSL certificates by default when every other browser does?

What the hell? If you're reading this, enable it in advanced Chrome settings right away.

Yes. Everything wrong with that 4th movie that claimed to be part of the Indiana Jones series, but most definitely was not. What a pile of garbage. This YouTube video was far more entertaining than the movie.

I still feel bad for getting my group of friends to see a midnight showing of this movie...

This is a big reason of why I want Google Glass - capturing those moments as they happen. Unfortunately, that $1500 price tag is a big deterrent, but I am sure smart people are working on how to bring those costs down a bit. #throughglass

Not so random thought for those considering whether or not Glass is for them today. Being a dad #throughglass  means I don't have to stop what I am doing to grab a funny picture. I don't have to stop teaching, playing, or enjoying what is happening right in front of me. I couldn't have taken these photos with anything else I own, because I was too busy holding frozen yogurt, fighting with my son, being a mountain for my daughter to climb, or being that jerk who says "quit hitting yourself" over and over again.

Some of the sites affected by the Heartbleed bug. Change your passwords now. #heartbleed #security

Changing passwords is a pain in the behind. But everyone should be doing this because of the Heartbleed security problems that have come to surface the last few days: http://www.techmeme.com/140410/p3#a140410p3

Some things:

1. If you don't have a different password for each site you are doing it wrong! (Particularly for banks, email, and major social networks).
2. If your password isn't at least 12 characters long, you are doing it wrong!
3. If your passwords have ANY dictionary names in them, you are doing it wrong (things that appear in the dictionary).
4. If you aren't using two-factor authentication on EVERY site that offers such (Gmail, Facebook, Twitter all do) then you are doing it wrong.
5. If you aren't using a password manager like Lastpass then you are probably doing it wrong (I let it generate all my passwords now to make sure I get truly strong 20-character passwords).

Good luck out there!

Heh, tell me about it. Nothing like following someone that does 40 on the ramp, then has to stop because they can't get into traffic at that speed.

Introduction
Google+ wanted to be to add a little introduction about myself. So, if you follow my stream, here is the type of information you will typically see posted (to my Public stream):
  • Technology - I can't get enough of this stuff. Software is my main passion, but I also am interested in various research topics.
  • Politics - I want to remain informed about the activities of my nation and will share my opinions and thoughts on the topics that interest me.
  • Gaming - This is how I relax, and I love sharing information about it.
  • Photography - I am not a photographer myself, but I love photography as an art and will sometimes share my favorites.
  • Cats - It's the internet! You can't go anywhere without a good cat post.
So, if any of those topics interest you (come on...cats!), then add me to your circles and join in the fun!
