Elegant and rich packaging. Thick textured paper with a beautiful but simple design, cage and cork for sealing, and a bottle with curves. The product has to be good to afford this packaging. Trust me, its good, if it wasn't I wouldn't have taken these pictures!

This is an +Odell Brewing Company beer which they age in fernet barrels. If you don't know what fernet is google it. You have never had a barrel aged beer like this before.

Really want to get my hands on this....Myrcenary is my beer of the year so far, and St Lupilin was a little disappointing in comparison.

Are you going to #GABF ? Take your own walking tour of some breweries close by! Better yet use a Denver B-cycle. Visit Great Divide , Our Mutual Friend, Epic, and River North Brewing. There are B-Cycle stations with in a few blocks of each of these places. Warning: I don't think I would do this tour after dark.

You can't rent a B-Cycle after midnight, but you can return one to a station. The first half hour after you check out a bike is free, and with this route you should never need a bike longer than a half hour.  They have an app to help you find the closest station - http://denver.bcycle.com/

These sauces com in a three pack and I wanted to create a look that would grab peoples attention. The last picture in this series shows this photo taken with only white light, which is pretty much how the set up looked to the naked eye. All of the other pictures are the same set up but with colored gels on the light(s) hitting the background. For the dual color pictures there was a colored light coming from upper left and a colored light coming from lower right. My favorite is the one with the blue background because it makes the sauces stand out the most since it is the opposite color as the labels.

linked is an info graphic showing that Blue Moon is taking over as the beer of choice in America. Could this have anything to do with their heavy ad campaign the last few years? Pair this with the fact that most people think it is a craft brew (it isn't, it is owned by Coors)  and you have to ask yourself, is America just waiting to be told where to get good craft beer? What do you think?

I'd have to say - yes it is. It has to be the reason why the likes of InBev have saturated global markets with such poor quality offerings. I wouldn't really consider Samuel Adams, Blue Moon or Yeungling as craft breweries by definition due to their size. But, the huge shift towards the 'craft' scene by the likes of Coors is both a cynical marketing move, and a welcome one. A move towards quality drink for the mainstream, will only result in the real craft scene taking things to another level.

It is all about finding the quality things in life! I have teamed up with +The Dudes' Brewing Co to do a photo shoot of the beer they work so hard to craft.

This was a fun shoot!!! The label on the salsa got scorched but I didn't burn anything else down. These are the same photo one with a slogan one without.

When I am not working on my personal project photographing craft beer, I am shooting products for my clients. Here is a picture for a line of salsa's and hot sauces.

I know you want some now that you have seen it, so here is the link: http://prettybitchescan.com/product-category/pbcct-products/
(tell her that her photographer sent you)
