We've been working on our first ever video course over at +Digital Photography School - dPS  together with photographer +Neil Creek Now, I know I'm biased as I work at dPS - but I can honestly say this set of 10 videos helped me to get confident with shutter speed and aperture again because he explains things so clearly. Congratulations +Neil Creek on creating a great product! You're such a good teacher.
Today I’m very excited to announce the launch of our first Digital Photography School Course – Photo Nuts and Bolts. The Photo Nuts Journey Early in 2010 dPS launched a brand new eBook – Photo Nuts and Bolts. Written by Neil Creek it was all about understanding your camera so you can get creative control …

New recipe on the blog! Lemon and coconut muffins
This morning it was my turn to bring morning tea to the office. Bringing food to the office a relatively new thing for me, because a few years ago when I started working with Darren we would occasionally meet at a cafe to discuss our production schedule. These days, the team has grown so much ...

Many years ago I thought I should aspire to feel content with what I have and who I am. And that should be enough. My children recently told me that I'm fussy. I guess I probably am. This is why I will never be satisfied (for long) That's okay. Because it's a creative state of mind ...

There are so many reasons why I'm glad I started blogging all those years ago. One of them is that I rediscovered writing. I have also met wonderful people (like +Euan Semple) Participated in world changing projects. Left my corporate job to work from home. My career is better than ever, I keep learning about myself and the things I love, and I spend more time with my family. Yes, that first step to write a blog post is a great thing Euan, even when it's a wobbly one to begin with. Thanks for reminding me of how a number of wonderful life events all started!

That first blog post...

Is the first modest, small, step, on the way to being "a writer" and all that that entails in terms of self discovery, courage, and vulnerability.

It is SO exciting when people take it.
