I never imagined a bow to be this fast and precise. This guy takes archery up to Hollywood levels.

The world's fastest archer has some compelling evidence that we've got archery all wrong. Frankly, as a GM you may not want your players watching this video...
Could it be that our idea of archery is all wrong? Modern styles aren't based on what "up-close" war archers would use?

Anyone who has skied in Alpe D'Huez before?

I'd booked my skiing trip to Alpe D'Huez in April. I'd like to know how the snow is around Easter.

Skiing is an expensive hobby but this resort was recommended to me by a French colleague from work as "good value for the money in France". I think the prices are similar to most of Austria's resorts. Italy is a little bit cheaper in my experience (and the food much better quality ☺)

Just noticed that 37 out of 103 games in my Steam library already have Linux support. This is truly amazing IMO, considering how bad the state of commercial software on Linux was just a few years back.

145 linux games of 256 games. A lot of games picked up from Humble Bundle packs. Most of them are okay. These days I just play Civ 5 and Beyond Earth. The rest of the games are shared to the family.

Steam For Linux  -

Just saw that Audiosurf 2 got ported to Linux

I really liked the first Audiosurf, which ran quite decently under Wine. Can anyone who tried Audiosurf 2 on Linux tell me if it's a good port, and whether it's worth getting it?

Give this man a Nobel peace price.

"A Cuban doctor who was cured of Ebola after contracting it in Sierra Leone says he will go back to West Africa to continue with relief efforts in containing the deadly virus."
Cuban doctor treated for Ebola says he will return to west Africa as virus shows little sign of abating in Sierra Leone.

Help Needed  -

Bumblebee trouble

Hi, I upgraded to the 3.18 kernel to fix wifi issues. That worked like a charm, but since then the primusrun and optirun commands no longer work. They return:
socat[9471] E connect(3, AF=1 "/var/run/bumblebee.socket", 27): No such file or directory
primus: fatal: failed to connect to Bumblebee daemon: No such file or directory

I didn't have this problem after upgrading from 3.13 to 3.16. I already tried dpkg-reconfigure on Bumblebee, but that doesn't work either. Could someone help me?

My system:
Linux Mint 17.1 64-bit Cinnamon
Linux 3.18 (Ubuntu kernel)
Nvidia 331.113 drivers
Bumblebee 3.2.1

I did install all the headers, but thanks for the suggestion +Michael Watzko!
I think +Thomas Citharel is right, I reverted to 3.17.1 and now primusrun works, although I'm having trouble with the wifi again.

This certainly looks like wallhacks by fnatic players at DreamHack. What do you think?

With some tweaks CS: GO seems stable enough to me for competitive games. I selected the performance CPU governor and disabled V-Sync, now the short freezes are gone and the game runs absolutely smooth.

(Linux Mint 17 Cinnamon 64-bit, AMD FX-8350 @4.5 GHz, performance governor, AMD HD 7950 with Catalyst 14.9)
