EDIT: Wait... +Vertabelo only supports Chrome and Safari, i.e.; they support a closed web. Womp. Would not recommend.

Oh, this is just what I was looking for.

+Google+ +YouTube OK, usually I flip less of my shit, but what the fuck is wrong with you? There's Jim Sterling, Angry Joe, and now I Hate Everything that you shut down like clockwork citing community guidelines that are not enforced fairly. You bend to whims of corporations to police a network that people count on for their livelihood, that deliver quality content to viewers, and that drive traffic for you. What the fuck?

It is too easy for people to have their channels shut down basically by angry trolls. You need to get your shit together. Implement peer review. Use your Internet Money to buy more moderators. Do SOMETHING. In one of the videos, a fellow wished there was an alternative to YouTube so that you might be inclined to actually be competitive about features such as your cryptic flagging system which sometimes has three strikes and on occasion actually has no strikes at all. And you know what, I kind of do too.

How Amazon is winning the future from Apple and Google.

I carry an iPhone in my pocket all the time. And on that phone I have enabled two intelligent personal assistants (IPAs): Apple's Siri and Google Now.

Each has advantages. Siri is quicker to get to, as it's better integrated into the iPhone. A long press on the phone's home button or center button on the earbuds, and Siri is prompted to await my commands. Siri results are often pretty good, and the IPA has a simulated personality—cracking jokes and sometimes saying surprising things.

Google Now requires that I open the Google app. But once there, it provides pre-emptive results. By scanning my Gmail and other personal and public data, it can tell me when to leave the house for my trip to the airport, given current traffic conditions.

Given the power and benefits of Siri and Google Now, which do I choose? There's no question: Amazon's Alexa—at least when I'm at home.

Here's why Alexa is way better than Siri or Google Now:

NeonBomb is cool, cool enough for me to point it out in a review and give it 5 stars instead of 4. The staff was pretty friendly and laid back. He asked me if I needed help, but didn't hover or bother me. Neon Bomb carries a selection of manga, Japanese snacks (like Pocky!), some anime toys and bags, and video games. While they don't have a ton of floor space, and not a ton of products, the ones they do have caught my eye. Old system and controllers, some complete N64 games with box, and I found a Killer 7 that I regret not buying immediately. They even had a handful of import games, including PS2, Famicom, Super Famicom, and I think I ever saw some import Dreamcast games. If you're in the area, do yourself a favour and stop by.

It's a nice enough place. Friendly staff, decent range of systems they carry games for. My only gripe is really that the place is pretty small and the selection is meh. There are a lot of games, don't get me wrong, but I always head to these places to find hidden treasures, and if you go to LevelUp in the hopes of grabbing a Killer 7, Silent Hill 2, or Eternal Darkness, you'll come away disappointed. They do have systems for pretty cheap though, old PS Ones for $45ish, GameCubes for a similar price. It's worth a stop if you're in the area but not worth a trek, if that makes sense.

I had a 5x5 locker here for years. They went up on rent a few times, but not since it came under new management, and of course your first months isn't really $1, as you have insurance chargers and other fees, so I feel like that's kind of misleading. But other than those minor gripes, it was fine; even after the rent went up, it's not much more expensive than the same-sized locker would be out in the burbs. Gate hours were reasonable, I had access to my things whenever I needed, and nothing was ever lost, damaged, or stolen during the time I rented the locker.
