I have a near work profile that turns on wifi when I am near work (based on cell near) I have a work profile that turns on when wifi is connected to my work access point. Some sites are blocked by my work wifi, so I need to turn off wifi to get them or download something, etc. Right now, if I turn off wifi, the work near profile activates basically 2 seconds later and turns wifi back on.
Ideas on most convenient way to handle this?
Make a task called WorkOverride or whatever.
In that task...
Task -> If: %CELLID ~ <your work near cell id>
Task -> If: %WIFII ~ <workssid>
Tasker -> Profile Status: <your near work profile>, Off
Net -> Wifi: Off
Task -> Else
Tasker -> Profile Status: <your near work profile>, On
Net -> Wifi: On
Task -> End If
Task -> End If
It will act as a toggle switch. if you are nowhere near work, the IF %CELLID will stop this from running at all. If you ARE near work and your Wifi is on, hitting it once will it will turn it off and disable the work near profile. Hitting it again will turn them back on.
Just make a Task Shortcut on your desktop to call the new task and tap it to turn it off or on.
If you don't care about making sure you are actually near work for this to work, then remove the opening IF and its matching END IF
