Hello, I'm working on learning JavaScript game development. I've added a scrolling tiling background and so far I have not been able to figure out why the background is causing a saw tooth memory situation. I don't create and destroy any of the tiles as the circle around, I just reposition the existing ones. Maybe somewhere I'm returning a new object from a function or something, but I'm just not seeing it.

The background is created and updated in the js\game\waves.js file.

If anyone can help me figure this out I would really appreciate it so I don't go deeper making the problem worse.

EDIT
This is a pure canvas game, no DOM manipulation is happening. Currently I'm not using a library and just doing everything not provided by the browser myself.

Thank you,
