It's really unbelievable. It's definitely not a hardware thing. They've done something special here, and I hope it's not Pixel exclusive. I hope it is a big part of 7.1. This will definitely help with Android as a platform for people who think it's "janky".
Hey, Michael. I had a quick question about your Material Design Icon Template on Figma.
I'm trying to figure out what's going on, or what you did.
So, I'm selecting one of the "Backgrounds" you have made, in this case the Circle, and it's labeled as a Group named Circle. If I select the whole group and try and use the eye dropper tool to change the color, it changes the whole group including the bounding box, so it basically turns it into a colored square. If I select the Fill color though, and then use the eyedropper tool it colors only the Circle, like I want. If I expand the Group and select the Background object (which is the Circle) and use the eyedropper tool I get the desired effect of coloring only the circle.
I guess I'm trying to find out why the Background objects are in there own Groups with the actual object being inside, what are the benefits to this?
Any feedback is appreciated!
Anyways thanks for your input!
