· Competition! · (win a scribblegraph t-shirt)
My goal for this year is simple: to illustrate and publish a book. And I'd love to invite all you writers (complete amateurs and veterans alike) to be a part of that!
It's simple - If you'd like to try your hand at writing a book for kids, do it!
Send me your story and maybe with a bit of old fashioned grit and determination, we'll end up publishing together. Don't have ideas for content? Leave comments here, and I'll give
you crazy stuff to write about. Could I make it easier?Regardless, there's a prize for the best entry: a scribblegraph t-shirt from my Zazzle store.
Guidelines for writing illustrated books:
· no more than than 500 words
· Should break into 14-15 parts or 'spreads' - this bit makes it easier for the guy scribbling to decide where and what to illustrate. Please share this post to any and all writers (of any kind) you might know on G+
- writing a book for kids is actually quite a challenge, and tests the ability to write lean, concise and expressive content. So it's a great
exercise! I'd love to illustrate my first complete book and publish with someone who simply wants
to create and just gives it a go. Who knows what could happen?
Entry deadline: Saturday January 26th
Send entries to: AshNathens@scribblegraph.me(subject:'Writers Comp')
There aren't any other fancy rules and regulations - but any text you submit for this competition remains
yours completely, and will not be shared or published without your consent. #competition #writing #writers #writersblock #writersgroup #writerscorner
