Sick as a dog today. Sad and sore and just wiped, so if I'm not responding to stuff this day or weekend, now you know. :(

I have a new hero! Her name is Skyla and she rocks my socks!
She's a young lady I have seen grow up these last few years since skating with her Mum. She is a brave, loving, giving soul. On June 14th she is going to be bald and proud!

Please consider helping Sky reach her goal! (A signal boost helps!)

Toward the end of a really tough month, this and other videos by this guy makes me crack up laughing (and I really needed to). Thanks, Steve. :)

I want Chinese/Japanese food soooooo baaaaaaaaaaad. :(

So, what does that mean? It means I really ought to figure out what's in the dishes I like so much, and attempt to make them myself.  If anything, Dani-Danger will be amused. ;)

Is there a food out there you enjoyed so much, you ended up just figuring out how to do it? Or is half the enjoyment never having to prepare it yourself? :)

Hope really is a great dog, she is even allowed over at my house because of her ability to calm down really fast and to listen to commands. I am crossing fingers it all works out between you two! 😃

#octoberweenhain  So, Rhiannon saw it earlier, but for my October "thing" is (besides decorating the place and trick-o'-treating with Dani-Danger) that, I read a book. Yup, just one, but it has two stories in it.

The House of the Dead & Poor Folk, by Fyodor Dostoevsky

Because there are different types of horror in the world.

This is like 10 years overdue right? That show was amazing though and through, I don't know if I'd recommend a binge viewing but a few episodes a week are great.

I can't be the only one excited that it's slightly after seven thirty EST, but it's still nominally light out.

(Catching up on projects) <-- so if you know I'm supposed to do something for you, drop me a line on the Gmail or IM me, or grab my attention on Skype/Hangout.

- Ian's great!  Work is good and steady!
- Dani's great and top canines are cut and moving on down! I also think she's starting to 'choose' things: she really likes the color yellow!
- MassSave will be doing an assessment on Feb. 12th, so holding off on painting and updating the house majorly until after that!
- Grammie turns 81 on Feb. 1st, and I'm looking forward to bringing Dani-Danger for another Great-Grammie visit.
- Looking forward to chopping my hair short again!

And that's the generic update over on the Pushee clan here. :-)

Janna, which company are you going through with mass save? CSG? I can assure you the discounts you get with insulation are definitely worth it and pays for itself. In the very least you'll get a house full of CFLs and faucet aeroators.

We've been coming here ever since a friend of ours introduced us to it: All you can eat, cooked-to-order brunch sounded great to us! We were also not disappointed by a thing: the restroom was clean (as was the outdoor area and the pool), the service was great and helpful in answering questions, and the food! My GOODNESS the FOOD. Definitely worth your money. Get in early on a Sunday morning, because after 10/10:30 it tends to be jam-packed! Also, they do take reservations! Call anytime after 8 a.m. on Sunday. What a great place! :-D

Picked up a pizza, ice cream, and some of their fancy bakery desserts. The ladies there were wicked helpful! Also, it's a plus that it takes credit cards! Simple decor that resembles 'Eat-And-Run' of most delis I've seen, and yet I wanted to linger to get to know the people better. A welcome addition to the area, and perfect as it's just off the rotary.
