As you may know, my little one came early. The stress of the NICU was intense, but it was nothing compared to what some parents go through. That's why we are raising support and funds for St. Jude. They support parents in amazing ways! Will you join me?

I think it helps those charities get more visibility, but then I read Matthew 6:3-4 "But when you give to the poor, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, 4 so that your giving will be in secret; and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you."
I think people are free to share, and indeed that can be encouraging and instructive, even inspiring.
To those whom much is given, much is expected.
But I would temper that by saying, as in Matthew 6, the Father in Heaven sees what you do and his joy and reward is best - Heaven - eternal.
If you share record of your benevolence to others - their response to you is your reward. And although great, I would still prefer God's.
That's the view as I see it from the point if view of the giver.
The receivers if your generosity win either way. So I also give thanks to God for your business being generous in benevolence. I thank God for you- and that's something you can never lose.
