Awesome Argentinian! Blood sausage, eight-hour pork and "South American pavlova" FTW.

Cripes -- how'd I get my mug plastered on the Sydney Morning Herald?
More than half of all public transport trips plugged into a new online fare calculator were found to be more expensive using Sydney's Opal smartcard compared with paper-based tickets.

+Michele Ann Jenkins Numbers are (relatively) easy to compare, quality of life is a lot fuzzier.  In Finland, Singapore, Australia and Japan, pension deductions are mandatory if you're drawing a salary.  Living on dividends alone is good if you can pull it off (I did it myself), but many entrepreneurs don't have the spare year's worth of savings they'd need to survive until the company can pay its first dividends.

Ridiculously awful, even by the low standards of Aussie tourist attractions. No orders, just premade food wilting in heated cabinets, if you're lucky -- at 1 PM on a Sunday, two out of three stalls had literally nothing at all left. The one remaining shop had chips, nuggets, and roast potatoes. Pack a picnic instead.

Will wonders never cease? An authentic South Indian restaurant in Five Dock! The masala dosas and lassis are great, and it's kid-friendly too. A bit on the pricy side, but not unreasonably so.

Looking for authentic Korean food? Don't be put off by the weird name or scary "Asian fusion" branding outside, the food here is the real thing: spicy sundubu jjigae, massive (and tasty) dolsot bibimbap, all served with a slew of homemade banchan (the cucumber kimchi rocks).

The quality of cobblestone here is excellent. Just keep an eye out on the owner, he has a bit of a tendency to creep up on you when you least expect it.
