Basic Information
Reader, Writer, Runner, Flower Hunter

Welcome! You are visiting the site of a minister's wife and a mom who loves to read, write, study, and teach. I love the Lord over all and am ever grateful to be His child. Thanks for stopping by--I'm happy that you came!

Bragging rights
• My name is Janet. • I love to read and write and study and teach. • I never outgrew fairytales. In fact, I married Prince Charming! We're living happily ever after serving our great King. • Sometimes I think I should have been a librarian. I love matching great resources with people who can use or appreciate them. • I love taking pictures of flowers. I call this flower hunting. • Taking pictures of flowers sometimes leads to taking pictures of bugs and other critters (squirrels, lizards, frogs . . .). I don't like bugs or reptiles, but they stop being frightening and start being fascinating when you are trying to take their picture. • I enjoy coffee and big muffins, popcorn, Mexican food, and diet Pepsi with lime. (Not altogether! Yuck!) • I hate strawberries. Tomatoes are only good in salsa. • I try to run 3 to 5 miles a day. • I’ve moved 17 times and lived in 8 states and 2 countries. I’m still a California girl at heart, loving sunshine, the ocean, sand under my feet, and salty air, but I’m learning to appreciate the unique gifts of this country’s many states.
