Well that didn’t take long. The Google Edition of the HTC One has really only just gone on sale in the US, but already some enterprising hackers have dumped its ROM and made a version any GSM HTC One owner can install on their non-Google Edition devices. You didn’t exactlylove Sense, right?

Blizzard just announced an F2P WoW-themed card game. I thought it was an April Fool's joke, but it seems so fleshed out. I don't have anything against online card games... it's just.... I dunno....someone finish my sentence? http://us.battle.net/hearthstone/en/

+Gerald Ruiz  That's true for most people, but I wasn't expecting a big announcement at Pax personally. I guess my guild and I are just not the kind of players interested in this? I'm not sure. I reserve judgement until I play it.

Roger Ebert has passed away. Here's one of my favorite blog posts of his, about his wife, Chaz.
Wednesday, July 18, is the 20th anniversary of our marriage. How can I begin to tell you about Chaz? She fills my horizon, she is the great fact of my life, she has my love, she saved me from...

This is seriously one of the most amazing things I've seen lately. The minecraft fact alone is mindblowing...
Zoom from the edge of the universe to the quantum foam of spacetime and learn about everything in between.

One of the serious mind f**s about the sense of scale is the fact that the expanding size of the universe is actually faster than the speed of light, and the size of the observable universe being 46 billion light years...is as tiny compared to the true size of the universe as an atom is compared to our observable universe  *head explode

Really great Japanese style gel manicure. They only do gel and only dry manicures. It's a little pricey, but worth it. They're very detail oriented, listen to your concerns and value nail health. They use only Japanese gels and you get like, 7+ layers (not just 3 or so). Would definitely recommend if you want something special.

Not super happy with my results, though it was cheap. I had a gel manicure where I could see streaks and air bubbles. My manicurist got gel all over my cuticles and used cutters to remove them and when I pointed it out, she told me that it would grow out nicer. Maybe, but if I wanted a sloppy job I would do it myself. I'll stick to my places in downtown LA, even though they're more expensive.
