Just saw an ad by AMP about planning and saving for the future. I would like to express my experience with them. At one point I had nearly a thousand dollars invested with them in superannuation. Within a few years their fees had reduced it to about $180. I do not recommend AMP for savings, investment or superannuation. A credit union is a far better move.

AMP once dropped my super balance by 25% in a year. That's when I realized cash under the mattress was a viable alternative for a smsf.

If you look on Flatmates for room rent in Footscray for $200 per week inclusive you'll see that the scumbag is not only already looking for another victim but his photos actually include my belongings! The cat tree and rocking chair cushions I was restoring and have shared on here in previous weeks and the microwave and bowls.

He boasts about being on a disability pension and making enough money to buy two houses. He's poison.

Backed into the garage door this arvo. It was glass. And the good house mate is gone now, so I'm here alone with a bottle of port, trying not to curse the abuser who led to all this. Oh well. There's groups that do interest free loans for povvo scum like me. She'll be right.

The garage is set up as a beauty studio. In 5 months it's been used once. Regardless, it really is time for me to GTFO.

Via +mary jo dodd This makes Indian culture seriously old.

It may be time to rewrite #history textbooks. Scientists from IIT-Kharagpur and Archaeological Survey of #India (ASI) have uncovered evidence that the #IndusValley ivilization is likely 8,000 years old, and not 5,500 years old, taking root well before the Egyptian (7000 BC to 3000 BC) and Mesopotamian (6500 BC to 3100 BC) civilizations. What's more, the researchers have claimed to have found evidence of a pre-Harappan civilization that existed for at least 1,000 years before this. http://buff.ly/1UctlzQ

More work on the cushions and chair. Just need to find a spring for the base. Wish it was a better distraction.

Amazing uses for this technology.

As previously reported on 3D Printing Industry, the Reaction Engines Ltd. SKYLON Spaceplane is an innovative new aircraft designed in partnership with the European Space Agency (ESA). The SKYLON houses one exciting feature on its aircraft: a SABRE rocket engine with a 3D printed injector. After multiple tests and long duration burns, the exciting engines have proven capability of smoothly transitioning from

Yep. I'm pretty excited about REL's work. The oxygen is the heavy part of a LH/LOX rocket's fuel mixture, so while you need a large tankage to contain the very light hydrogen, you save on the amount of oxygen you need to carry along for the first, fuel-heavy part of the burn to orbit.

The dismal state of Australian politics. Same Murdochistan playbook all over the west. Troglodytes.

I still eke out hope from the result.
With the power of Murdoch and Fairfax combined, they still couldn't get Turnbull across the line. Of course Katter and McGowan will lift him into place. Or the last few votes may actually get him over the line by a perfectly manicured nosehair.
But still, with all that biased MSM supporting them, people still turned away from the Neocons.

One fully skinned couch. Ready now for measuring and layout. And there's a tonne of foam. The webbing is very good quality and should make a couple of footrests. There's a bit of nice finished pine there too, so that will make the matching footrest for the rocking chair and the pallets can do the pet beds & side tables. Basil will just have to limit his washing to two thirds of the back stoep. Or the new house mate gets to live with my project habit, which seems more likely.

Skinned the arms of the couch. We're getting there. It successfully kept my mind off the shifting housemates thing for most of the day. Laid back housemate, easiest guy on earth to get along with, works subcontracting. The other two of us pay fortnightly. Sub guy says 'this month I'll pay a fortnight, then the second half a few days later. Landlord throws tantrum and tells him to get out (standard response to any issue with minor household chores) this time housemate says yeah, had enough of that. Will move when this month is up. Now he's getting texts requesting him to stay, as happened after the student was threatened with having his legs broken because the dishes weren't stacked right. We're all keeping all the txts and recordings for the Tribunal. It'll make hilarious reading when it's all over.

Possible hung parliament. Australians apparently are that mean, stupid and spiteful. I need a new country please. People have these stickers on their cars, if you don't like it leave. Then they let Murdoch turn it into a neo-con hell hole. I'll be in a bottle, if anyone needs me.

+Kim Nilsson, I'm an American who has lived through multiple Republican presidencies. I really get it. Please stop with the painfully obvious explanations.

The irony is, I actually could move to Canada, since I'm married to a Canadian. But I digress.
