+Terry White shows how to use your iPad/iPhone as a second display for your Mac laptop using a Mac/iOS app called Duet. This is a great setup when you're traveling and working on photos in Lightroom or Photoshop. When you're working in Lightroom you might put Grid view on the laptop and Loupe view on the iPad. When you're working in Photoshop you might put the photo on the laptop and some panels on the iPad. Great ideas Terry.

- [Voiceover] Hi, this is Jan Kabili for Photo Tools Weekly. This week I'll share a technique for freeing up space on your phone using Google Photos. If you shoot a lot of photos and videos with your phone, at some point you're gonna hit the wall, if you haven't already when it comes to the number of photos and videos you can keep on your phone. This is especially true if you're frugal and you didn't buy a phone with lots of memory. Until now the...

I'm all about using Google Photos to store all the photos and videos I shoot with my iPhone. The beauty of it is that you can remove the originals from your phone and still be able to view and edit on the phone the copies you've stored on Google's servers. It's free and unlimited when you choose the High Quality upload option in the Google Photos app. While, It's true that Google Photos does apply compression to your photos, folks are saying that visual impact of that compression is negligible. Here's a visual comparison from Petapixel and one from Google so you can evaluate for yourselves: http://petapixel.com/2015/05/30/jpeg-compression-test-google-photos-vs-jpegmini/

Jax has the best seafood in Boulder and has for years. It's tough to get a table on weekends, but locals love to pop in during the week and sit at the u-shaped bar or one of the two prized tables in front of Jax, where you can see the Boulder scene close up. The service is great; waiters tend to stay there for years. Do not miss the calamari appetizer. The catfish po'boy is a good deal. Some entrees are relatively pricey, but the consistent quality makes the price worthwhile. One downside - acoustics aren't good, so it can be hard to have an intimate conversation in the small dining room.
