Adobe released Lightroom 6.3 / 2015.3, and the big news is that this version reverts the import experience to the way it was before Lightroom 6.2 was released in early October. This new/old import process is now reflected in the Adobe Learn tutorials on adobe.com. (Adobe Learn is the team I work with.) For a written overview of import, check out https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom/how-to/import-photos.html. If you prefer video, check out Laura Shoe's adobe.com video: https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom/how-to/transfer-photos-from-camera-to-computer.html
Learn how to use the import tool to bring your photos into Lightroom for editing, organizing, and sharing

This career has had some amazing highs, but none compare to today. This is day 1 of my dream job at the mothership! I'm the newest member of the Adobe Learn team, with responsibility for the Photoshop and Lightroom tutorials at adobe.com. It just does not get any better than this for geeks like me.

The first snow of the season kept me in Denver overnight, in the same hotel where I spent many nights after working late at the law firm across the street in my previous life. The good news is all I have to do is walk downstairs this morning to enjoy more of the fabulous The Photoshop Conference with great speakers like these--+Lesa Snider , +Justin Seeley , and +Chris Converse  hanging out after the show.

Jax has the best seafood in Boulder and has for years. It's tough to get a table on weekends, but locals love to pop in during the week and sit at the u-shaped bar or one of the two prized tables in front of Jax, where you can see the Boulder scene close up. The service is great; waiters tend to stay there for years. Do not miss the calamari appetizer. The catfish po'boy is a good deal. Some entrees are relatively pricey, but the consistent quality makes the price worthwhile. One downside - acoustics aren't good, so it can be hard to have an intimate conversation in the small dining room.
