One of the greatest things on internet

Congratulations Wikipedia! You've been around for 15 years and still ad free.
“Wikipedia is why, even though I spent most of my adult life out of school as a refugee, when I finally got to a safe place and into a university I was able not only to compete with my peers, but to excel.” Ali United States. “I rely so much on the neutrality point of view that wikipedia offers.

Anyone experienced posts that gets deleted from G+ ?

Three or four times now I have posted about gaming in Linux.
It is visible a few hours, then its gone (deleted by someone or something...). I even posted it only for myself and even that was gone after a few days. Other posts I write seems to stick.

I don't see why this post itself could contain anything that conflicts Googles T&Cs.

Anyway it WILL stick on my own newly created blog... that by the way will be updated irregularly. This post is really not about marketing my blog....
Linux is a free operating system and thousands of games are available…also for free. Even Solitaire games comes with no cost and with Windows 10 you have to pay for that. When it comes to AAA games Linux falls short. Although many Windows titles will work through Wine, it often results in ...

Hi +Jan Wells , my account is secured with two factor identification and my problem only relates to this post. I therefore find hacking unlikely.
Best guess is that there is some words in my post that trick G+ engines to think it's spam.

Psst! +Jan Grønbech

Music artist buys Spotify competitor

Interesting news today where rapper Jay Z (Beyoncé's husband) buys WiMP, originally a Norwegian music streaming service much like Spotify. WiMP offers 25M songs and is available in some European countries.

It will be exciting to see if it's possible to bring that service to new heights.
Jay Z is making a play in the music streaming business. The 45-year-old rapper and entrepreneur is buying Swedish tech company Aspiro for 464 million Swedish crowns ($56 million) in cash....

Youtube livestreamer burned down the house yesterday

Incredible video shows how a small fire can develop if not right equipment nor knowledge is at hand.
Video is interrupted when computer shuts down by failure or power cut.
Tragically according to Metro, one person killed (http://goo.gl/AfZ69A)

Twitter and Google friends again

So when Twitter is a fading bird (?) they finally gave Google access to their "firehouse" again.
Not sure it will matter that much ? Google seem to have moved away from their brilliant "realtime - live feeling" they had earlier on.
Off course search results will be instant.
It's official, Twitter confirms that it has a deal again to supply Google with access to its full stream of tweets.

Is your city in 3D?

Goto maps.google.com, make sure you are in “Earth” view (icon down left).
Zoom into your city and use the compass tilt. Shortcut is ctrl+left mouse button and drag mouse around.

I’ve always been pretty impressed with Google Map’s. Navigation and traffic information is really helpful and street view even more amazing. Google continues to impress by giving Google Earth Pro for free, and expanding their 3D world.

3D imaginary have for some time been available from Google in some big cities, but lately it seems they have used their engines to build 3D images in many minor cities as well.
Their so called stereophotogrammetry from aerial imagery is done possible by taking pictures from different angles and using that to automatically generate the 3D structure. By judging the quality of the 3D objects, it seems Google have pretty detailed pictures from multiple sources, satellite, street view, pictures from users? …just guessing

Take my hometown Sandefjord as an example, with population of 45.000, now available in pretty impressive 3D.
