Get into learning and writing code people. Hell, get your kids into it! It's a skill that will server you well in the future. Not just the near future, but tomorrow!

When I was 17, my Math Teacher Ms. Bruce asked me if I wanted to learn how to control computers. My mind was blown. “Wha…

If you get a chance to watch this (1.5hrs), this is a very good lecture on why sugar is one of the greatest threats we face today. It’s not a new argument. Most people know about this, but (speaking from experience) complacency is a bugger and it’s so easy to shelve the sugar-is-bad thing and just blindly consume what’s ‘convenient’ and 'easy’ in favour of saving time or whatever.

With more and more of the food made available to us being sweetened and cheapened to keep us hooked, we’re really up against it.

Some will argue (mostly Food Corp giants) that there is no scientific proof. This is true, because to get the data necessary to scientifically prove, without doubt, that sugar is bad, it will involve largely unethical trials spanning decades and decades. However, this lecture lays down a lot of sound research data that clearly infers sugar’s role in causing nearly all of our health problems (particularly obesity), worldwide.

It’s not to be sniffed at, and something I know I will be taking more seriously from now on.

Interdependence is a fundamental law of nature. Even tiny insects survive by cooperating with each other. Our own survival is so dependent on the help of others that a need for love lies at the very core of our existence. This is why we need to cultivate a genuine sense of responsibility and a sincere concern for the welfare of others.

You hit the nail on the head man. How much happier we could all be if we lived less for ourselves and more with each other.
Many struggle for the success of a few, and it just keeps widening the divide.

This is brilliant. Some clients expect spec/concept work at a reduced rate - even free! - Particularly in creative industries. It's ridiculous how undervalued our time and work can be.

Don't invest too heavily in social media. Just don't.
Water coolers all over the globe are buzzing today with news of a pending Google Plus demise. Is anyone surprised? I’m not. The rumors started to fly as early as last April. (“Google Plus is Walking Dead,” TechCrunch, April 2014).Time will tell what the difference is between fact and reality, since much of the editorial I’m reading today is pure speculation, but I know one thing for sure: it reinforces the importance of building OWNED MEDIA.It doe...

What a random thing to stumble upon, and also a very good idea. Coming from experience, staying silent becomes a comfort zone after a while but it makes moving forward a lot slower. It's good to speak up, and it can be empowering, provided you believe and stand by what you say.
Anyway, "Less&More" is a great initiative. Thanks for sharing.
