Introduction

Jamie Lendino is the managing editor of ExtremeTech. Previous, he was the managing editor for the consumer electronics and mobile teams at PCMag.com, and has written for the magazine since 2005. Jamie was also the editor-in-chief of Smart Device Central, PCMag's dedicated smartphone site, for its entire three-year run from 2006 to 2009.

Before PCMag, he was a contributing editor for Laptop and mediabistro.com. His writing has also appeared in Popular Science, CNET, Consumer Reports, Electronic Musician, and Sound and Vision.

In addition, Jamie is a producer and engineer for film and interactive media. He has created audio for over 30 games, and appears as a featured composer in seven books on the game industry. Jamie was a huge Atari fan back in the day and can be easily lured into any room that contains vintage arcade machines.
