Great initial preview +Empty Box . I agree with pretty much everything you said in this vid. I've been having a ton of fun with it and can only hope for improvement in the area's mentioned.

As for the cockpit cam, there are some mods out there that make it much better. I have personally been using this one:

http://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/closer-head-cameras.6119/

Which makes it much more acceptable, however, I really want +Codemasters to add proper FOV and seating adjustments to the game, much like Assetto Corsa's one. Getting the dash lined up perfectly with a proper FOV would make it much better.

One thing you failed to mention in the game though is just how good the sounds are! Seriously.. this is RRE levels of sound! The cars sound loud, hollow and powerful. You can hear the gravel, mud, echo's from the exhaust. It has fantastic reverb and I love the way it actually drowns the co-driver out sometimes. They are absolutely outstanding and is probably one of the games biggest selling points right now!

All in all, a fantastic game regardless of it's issues with genre at the moment (It's more of a Simcade at the mo imo), and one any RACING fan should have in their collection.

PS That auto recovery can die in a fire!

Ignoring the truly awful writing and English on this site, I'd be interested to see how much of this is true, given the recent other S2000 successor rumours contradict this by quite a bit.

With that said, whilst I liked the design of the other rumours, this one certainly stays truer to the original design and I think given that, would make this a better successor. The other design could easily be offered up as a separate new model line.

370horses sounds good too! I'm starting to crave a bit more aggressiveness in the acceleration in my S, and I think that would be the remedy!

It is totally wrong if you think that 2016 Honda S2000 is a newcomer. Basically, Honda was released its first generation in 1998 as a popular car for urban city buyers with the small body and the stylish style. We cannot deny that at that time, the engine was quite efficient that was able to...

Oh now if this is true, I could be interested. Whilst it doesn't have the classic, timeless shape with the wide, high rear end and long narrow front of my current S2K, it does have a certain sportiness about it that looks like akin to cars normally priced at a higher bracket. If they price this right, I could finally have a replacement for my old girl in a few years time!

There will be a big return presented by Honda Motor Company since they are rumored to launch one of the most influential sports cars called 2017 Honda S2000. After ten years they have offered it on the market with some titles and awards, its story was ended in 2009 and now the company plans to...

Amazing driving yet again. That catch when the back end lets go was stunning.

Absolutely love your set up - I wish I could get my setup close to this!

As much as I hate to say it, but +Electronic Arts  +Origin  "On the house" deals have been pretty sweet, and something that +Valve 's +Steam could take a big leaf from.  I've not been a huge fan of Origin, and swear by Steam, but I have to admit that they have improved it a lot.

I've managed to net some of my all time favourite games for absolutely nothing in the past year, including the likes of Populous, SimCity 2000 and now, Theme Hospital!

If you haven't played Theme Hospital before, I implore you to install Origin and grab an absolutely classic game for absolutely nothing whilst you still can!

Not often you can say well done EA, but, well done :)
Download Theme Hospital for PC on Origin and start creating and maintaining a hi-tech hospital. Save lives and have fun.

I absolutely loved this Chris! Huge grin for the entire race and that Rover V8 sounded beautiful. Such a shame Rover went to crap.

A fantastic effort from you both - especially considering you were up against Matt Neal and Tiff!

As for the TopGear Question... I think that should have been "When are WE replacing Jeremey ;)"

Jesus this is amazing! Its EXACTLY as I remember it, only, better! Kudos to the creators. They have everything perfect even down to the motion, the height and distance of the jumps and slides etc. If they polished it a little more up to the standards of the new Mario World game it would be the perfect Mario game. Mario 64 is still unsurpassed IMO.

Excellent video as always +Empty Box . I totally agree with what you said regarding bumps. I love AC, but have always felt that the cars feel a tad floaty and that they don't really have any 'bounce' to them.  I know race cars have hard suspension so won't bounce or lean as much as a road car would, but I've always felt that they are a bit too 'flat' feeling. However, some of these DLC cars are much better.  Although it does make me wonder if the issue isn't with the cars, but the tracks themselves? Having driven some of these cars on other tracks, they again don't feel as alive as they do on the nords. The wheels feel like they roll more on that track.. you can feel the undulations in the track.. the suspension sucking it up etc - something that I miss from many of the other tracks. Other tracks are by all means not bad, but they don't feel as alive as this one does.

I would however disagree with you in regards to the 4C though - it's an absolute blast to drive. That car is a nice mix of power and handling. Again you can feel the road and body roll in that car... it squirms nicely on heavy braking as you'd expect it to, leaning in to the side that has most grip etc, and the back end can come out easily if you step on it too soon, but not enough to bite your head off - easily catchable and regains grip easily. I'd certainly have it up higher on my list.

An off-subject question, you run a 23" screen do you not? What FOV do you use in AC?

+Jamie Key The track is probably a bigger part of it than the suspension physics right now. Driving on the other tracks or on mods like snoopy's nordschleife doesn't really produce the smoothest kind of track. The new nordschleife is laser scanned so the smooth parts are smooth and the bumpy parts are bumpy. You can really tell the difference if you go back to the snoopy version and listen to your car bottoming out every 30 seconds.

Hell yea!!

+Casey McKinnon  One for you!
Hendy Mp, a talented wildlife photographer based in Indonesia, has captured what is probably one of the weirdest spectacles we've ever seen – a tree frog going for a wild rodeo ride on the back of a giant horned wood-boring beetle.

+Valve Make this happen!
It looks beautiful and would also work for Big Picture mode (which is too clunky imo)

Introduction
A technology fan at the core, I enjoy reading and involving myself in it. The distance we have come as a race is phenomenal and I look forward to seeing more of it.

On the flip-side of this, I love nature and all the beauty and curiosity it brings with it. Nature, our relationship with it and how technology has helped us understand it better is always my biggest joy.

As an avid scuba diver, the ocean has always been my dream destination for a job, which I hope will one day become a reality.

Back on land, I love PC gaming, getting out and about and socialising.

My interests vary from making bread on a Saturday morning (which the Mrs loves) to getting up bright and early to head on down to Thruxton or Brands Hatch for the latest motorsports races.

My interests in music are mostly based heavily around Trance and house, although do dabble in the odd bit of indie/alternative music and Jazz!

Film wise, I will watch anything that makes me smile. Action, Comedy and Rom-coms are the normal, but naturally love a good sci-fi flick when the Mrs allows it ;)
