#inspiration #devotional JESUS CHRIST LIVED BEFORE MANGER – John: Jesus Christ was in Existence before His Manger Birth (Passage: John 1)  Jesus Christ the Son of God has been in existence before Mary physically gave birth to him at the manger. He was in existence before the creation of the earth. In fact, Christ witnessed inception of the earth, and he also played a part in its creation. The scripture attested, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and nothing was made without him. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it” (John 1:1-5). Lesson on the Birth of Jesus Christ and Earth Creation The life of Jesus Christ did not begin at the manger when Mary gave birth to him. He was the breath of God that made earth creation happened. It is virtually... [[ Visit www.BibleArena.org for full links, other content, and more! ]] #John #New_Testament #adam #birth_of_jesus #biblestudy #biblelesson

#inspiration #wisewords Beware Of Pride Of #PersonalAchievement: Paul used his personal experience to analyze how Satan can manipulate anyone into pride through personal achievement. The enemy can trick someone to mistake #Godsgrace and blessing as mere fruits of human labor (which is a practice detested by God). Paul used his life as an example and said,   “...And lest I should be exalted above measure by the abundance of the revelations, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I be exalted above measure. Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might depart from me. And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me” (2 Corinthians 12:7-9).   #LessononPride of achievement   God created humanity to depend on him. #inspiration #devotional ISRAELITES MUST HAVE COURAGE – Deuteronomy: Deuteronomy - Children of God Must Maintain Confidence in God (Passage: Deuteronomy 20,21,22) God asked Israelites to demonstrate courage and not fear their enemies during battles. They must not fear their enemies that may outnumber them. Israelites must always remember God's past faithfulness and have confidence for future victory. Israelites must remain strong in God. The same God who brought them out of Egypt and made them to successfully pass through the wilderness would win any battle that may come their way in future. God said to Israelites, “When thou goest out to battle against thine enemies, and seest horses, and chariots, and a people more than thou, be not afraid of them: for the Lord thy God is with thee, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt” - Deuteronomy 20:1. Christians to Draw Their Strength from Past Victory Children of God are to remain confident in God... #inspiration #devotional PAUL PRAISED PHOEBE FOR HER SERVICE TO GOD – Romans: Service To God: God Will Reward Faithful Christians (Passage: Romans 16) A lady by the name Phoebe caught Paul’s attention with her exceptional godly servitude. Paul recognized Phoebe as a faithful servant of God who minister to the needs of her people. Paul highlighted in her letter to the Romans, “I commend to you Phoebe our sister, who is a servant of the church in Cenchrea, that you may receive her in the Lord in a manner worthy of the saints, and assist her in whatever business she has need of you; for indeed she has been a helper of many and of myself also” (Romans 16:1-2 NKJV). Lesson On Faithful Service to God Faithful service to God has reward! Christians must understand that our activities are not limited to church activities only. We must demonstrate the love of Jesus Christ to people within and without the church. That is, believers must minister to all people. We must... #inspiration #wisewords Uphold #Righteousness and Be filled With God’s Reward: King Hezekiah upheld the scepter of righteousness in the land of Judah, and God prospered him. The scripture reported Hezekiah's courageous decisions that turned out to become his achievements. It is reported,   “Now when all this was finished, all Israel who were present went out to the cities of Judah and broke the sacred pillars in pieces, cut down the wooden images, and threw down the high places and the altars—from all Judah, Benjamin, Ephraim, and Manasseh—until they had utterly destroyed them all. Then all the children of Israel returned to their own cities, every man to his possession” (2 Chronicles 31:1).   King Hezekiah lived a victorious life and he was honored till the sunset of his life. His end was reported, “... So Hezekiah rested with his fathers, and they buried him in the upper tombs of the sons of David; and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem... #inspiration #devotional THE JUDGMENT OF GOD COMES – Joel: Christians to Proclaim God’s Salvation (Passage: Joel 2) God requires Christians to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ without hesitation. They must inform people about Jesus' gift of salvation, and also enlighten people of God’s punishment that would come on unrepentant sinners. God stated through his prophet, “Blow the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble; for the day of the Lord is coming, for it is at hand” (Joel 2:1).   Consequences of Heaven or Hell Gospel must be preached with all seriousness stating the consequences that would follow adamant sinners. That is, a call to repentant action must include serious tone that will warn everyone to live up to God’s standard stating: This present world will remain a temporal home for all people. Everyone will migrate from here to a permanent destination. However, not all... #inspiration #wisewords IMPLICATION OF KEEPING BAD ASSOCIATION: King Rehoboam succeeded his father Solomon as a king of Israel, but he quickly followed wrong counsels and lost credibility with his citizens. Therefore, he lost more than 70% of his kingdom to someone who had no royal blood. The scripture reported, “…And Jeroboam and all Israel came and spoke to Rehoboam, saying, ‘Your father made our yoke heavy; now therefore, lighten the burdensome service of your father and his heavy yoke which he put on us, and we will serve you.’” (2 Chronicles 10:3-4). “So Jeroboam and all the people came to Rehoboam on the third day, as the king had directed, saying, ‘Come back to me the third day.’ Then the king answered them roughly. King Rehoboam rejected the advice of the elders, and he spoke to them according to the advice of the young men, saying, ‘My father made your yoke heavy, but I will add to it; my father chastised you with whips, but I will... #inspiration #wisewords #Repentance matters to #God #Unrepentant ends in #HellFire #Believe 2 #Saved: God keeps record of sins, and he will not spare unrepentant sinners from punishments. The Creator who knows all things will reward all things. He will bless god-fearing people, but will punish the heartless and wicked people. Nothing will escape God’s watchful eyes without exerting his adequate judgment. However, Jehovah is more interested in blessing sinful people than severing them with punishments. He will forgive any sinner who repents from his or her sins. A person who asks for God’s forgiveness will receive it. Moreover, God’s tenderness mercy over sinners has limit. He will not wait indefinitely for any sinner to repent; he will eventually draw a line to execute judgment, and he will hurl all unrepentant sinners to hell fire.
