Tried 5x5 a few years ago when it was just a spreadsheet. There were very few gyms in my area with a barbell and power rack, and ones that did always had someone already using them, so I didn't stick with it too long.
Now I got my own rack and weights, I'm excited about lifting and improving. My biggest challenge right now is getting enough calories to gain mass. Don't want to get fat, so I'm also tracking using MyFitnessPal, which seems to be the easiest, but do have to make sure I'm entering my macros in properly.
