+Dan Saunders Yes, it's a rigid singlespeed 29er.

+Tom Ligman I think I have a shot on my phone of the full bike. Let me see if I can find it.

Spent some time organizing my workshop today. My old cranksets seem to have multiplied in storage.

That is exactly why I was organizing it +Chris Olson. Just sold an Ultegra 9 speed crankset on ebay, and these will follow soon... except for the Campy Xenon which is going on an old Marinoni frameset that I am building up again.

Great news. Can't wait for the trail to connect downtown with ICAR! I'll be using it often.
Greenville City Council is scheduled to vote Monday on allocating $2.5 million for the project, provided Greenville County agrees to build pedestrian bridges over Laurens and Haywood roads and Verdae Boulevard.

My first new blog post at JCTdesign.net in quite a while>> Resolutions (or adjustments to my morning routine)

I am not usually big on New Year’s Resolutions, but the start of a new year is a good time to reflect on habits (good and bad) that I may have settled into...

OK, +Tom Ligman, here is a shot of the full bike...and one more from my ride this morning.

It's a Redline Monocog 29er... a simple steel frameset without those newfangled derailleurs or suspension bits that are always causing trouble.

Confirmed by a glance at the gallery on my phone...I like to take pictures of things that are cracked, weathered, and broken.

Great list! I am happy to see my +Bicycle Design.net site included.

Quirky posted a great list of "25 product design sites to inspire you."

It's quite an honor for #BicycleDesign to be included in such good company!
Our industrial designers find creative inspiration everywhere. Whether they’re walking to work or exploring a far-flung locale, they’re always on the lookout for eye-catching design. And when they’re stuck in the office, they catch up with their favorite design blogs and websites. After some

An old #markersketch of a ceiling fan remote that I did years ago. As much as I like doing 3d computer renderings these days... down and dirty quick marker sketches are still my favorite. #oldschool #design #industrialdesign #rendering

Industrial designer, cyclist, photographer, hiker, traveler, husband, and father...not necessarily in that order.
Introduction
I am a product designer in the lighting/home decor industry with a slight (but I think healthy) obsession with bikes and cycling. In addition to cycling and industrial design, I am interested in art, architecture, furniture, lighting, photography, and exploring the great outdoors with my family. You can find me other places on the web too. Check out my about.me page for links to most of them.

I also have a blog at BicycleDesign.net that is about...well, it's pretty self explanatory. There is a Google+ page for the blog too, so be sure to add it to your circles.

On Google +, I have the following circles which cover the majority of topics that interest me:

Art & Design
Cycling
Greenville, SC
Health and Fitness
Lighting
News
Photography
Tech

Cycling is my largest circle, but my photography and art/design circles are growing fast too. To combine those interests, I started the #VeloThursday weekly Google + photo theme.  Join the community and use the #velothursday hashtag to share your best original bike themed photographs each week.
