If I had a pound for every time someone told me LinkedIn was about jobs and only recruiters used it then I'd be retired but it's not. Yes it is how they make their income but most users aren't job seekers or recruiters. This infographic tells you all about the 20 million and the top 3 industries. Those same people are often dumbfounded when I share examples of clients making millions each year using free LinkedIn accounts and more. Shout if I can help any more.

Imagine going to a huge networking event, convention or conference and standing there not doing anything .. you wouldn't would you as it would never work. LinkedIn is just the same, try doing something, a status message is a great place to start to here's how to do it. If you enjoy this then check out the other blog posts or sign up if you like :)

You really have to wonder about some people on LinkedIn I think. You will be amazed, appalled and possibly (unusually for me) dumb struck by not just what words people use on their profiles but also the worst offenders.
