40 years since #Jaws was released. Great film, but shouldn’t make people scared of sharks virg.in/mdas

There are grounds for optimism when you think that in the early 20th century few people used the word compassion, but nowadays even politicians talk about it. Similarly, a century ago hardly anyone thought about ecology and the environment the way they do today. What’s more, in the early 20th century people regarded war and the use of force as the only way to resolve problems, and today that has changed.

An angry post on Neil Young's official site entitled "GOODBYE STARBUCKS!!!" explains why Young is boycotting the coffee chain and urging others to do the same. The iconic folk-rocker notes that Starbucks has aligned itself with the genetically engineered food company Monsanto in a lawsuit against the state of Vermont. (UPDATE: Starbucks isn't actually involved with the lawsuit, so Young's ire is misplaced; see below.) As the Genetic Literacy Proj...

Isis has seized almost full control of the ancient Syrian town of Palmyra after government defence lines collapsed, although it is unclear how close to the famed archaeological site the extremists have advanced.

Story
Introduction

What you see is what you get if you don't like it you know where the door is!!

I was born in the year of the `dragon which is why Bruce Lee was my Hero when I was young.

I am an excellent motivator of others.

I like to lead rather than be led by others who think they know better but have self interests at heart.

I enjoy mentoring younger members of my team as it brings me great pleasure to see them blossom into confident individuals.

I must have total harmony in my company when socializing or in a work situation if someone is destroying that either I or they must leave.

I appreciate genuine friends and loyalty from them, to be betrayed by someone you trust is the worst thing that can happen to a person.

I like to spread my happiness to others.

I would love to indulge in philanthropy.

Having a belief in oneself allows you to achieve much.

I feel a sense of duty to protect the innocent and weak in society.

I feel society in general has a lack of compassion for these less fortunate creatures.

I cannot tolerate negative energy or people.

These types are quickly dismissed from my circle of friends.

Overcoming your fears allows you to achieve much.

It is good to feel the fear and experience the strengthening of character which comes from leaving your comfort zone.

I have always been a bit of dreamer and am quite often initially influenced by others with ulterior motifs and greed  at heart, however when there true motifs become apparent they are quickly shunned.

I Have respect for those who have the courage to carry out there convictions.

Not easily fooled.

The simple things in life bring me the most pleasure.

I would gladly sacrifice myself to protect  the ones I love from danger.
