Of course I already knew this. I wish more people did.

This is obviously going to spike some emotions (though, it really shouldn't).  As such, I'm disabling comments.  Just view it, listen to it, and think on it.

The megapixel wars broke out on a new front today as Japanese camera giant Canon announced a head-spinning new sensor. The roughly 250-megapixel (19,580 x 12,600) APS-H CMOS sensor sets a world...

Is anyone using two Amazon Echoes? We have one in our house and my wife has an invite for one. I was thinking of getting another one for use in another area of our house. However, I'm not sure how this will work. Can two Echoes be linked to the software? Will there be conflicts?

+Kevin Dahlstrom I saw that in the settings. I took it as just a way to set up my new Echo. I was assuming they had not written the software to be intelligent enough to remove that option once my Echo was setup. Or, left it there in case, for some reason, I needed to redo my setup. But maybe I wasn't giving them enough credit.  You could be right. Now I am even more anxious to get another. My wife had an invite last month and didn't tell me. She let it expire. I have since sent another request for her. Grrr. I will defiantly keep this group posted. The potential of this device is so immense. But it really needs to be in more areas then one to reach full potential.

I use Google Now reminders all the time. One of my favorites is "OK Google, remind me when I get home....." Then, when I get home I get a notification reminding me for "whatever". However, in the last few weeks, this has stopped working. What I have noticed is, my Nexus 7 (which is at home all the time) and my Galaxy S2 (which I use as a bed side clock and also at home) have the notification for my "when I get home" reminders. Well obviously these devices are at home so they are activating the reminder probably right after I set it on my Nexus 5 when I am away.
My question is, why is this just now happening? These devices have always been at home and this has worked in the past. Something in the last few weeks has changed. Shouldn't Google know that I set the reminder on my Nexus 5 and I obviously mean to be reminded when that device makes it home?  I love cross device notifications, but either Google goofed something up or Google Now needs to get smarter.

Great find/post. Some apps can be right clicked on and uninstalled, however, this took care of the ones that can't.

Lots of bloatware in Windows 10.  Here's how to get rid of it
Windows 10 includes a variety of universal apps, and there’s no easy way to hide them from the “All Apps” view in the new Start menu. You can uninstall them, but Microsoft doesn’t allow you to easily uninstall them in the usual way.

+Dave Elliott I turned off location reporting for the tablet and my S2 this morning to see if it works. I just wonder what side effects that will have on my tablet. An example might be searching for a bbq  restaurant on my tablet won't bring up near by bbq places. I don't really care about the S2, but I do use location on my tablet from time to time. Something defiantly changed in the last few weeks though.
I didn't mention it in my original post, but my wife has a Galaxy S3 and Nexus 7. She is having the same issue. It also started around the same time. Since the only way she is getting updated is through Play Services, my guess is its something that came down the pipe through that.

That was no Angus burger. I think I was served one of those Hormel frozen burgers you buy in the 10 pack. It really was a frozen patty that was microwaved. My wife had a ranch chicken wrap and my daughter had chicken fingers. Both were much better then my meal. However, they were out of their first menu choice. I have eaten here at least 3 times. This was my first bad experience. Next time I won't let these things slide.
