From the bill's text: "The North Carolina General Assembly does not recognize federal court rulings which prohibit and otherwise regulate the State of North Carolina, its public schools, or any political subdivisions of the State from making laws respecting an establishment of religion." So while they're not filing to actually ESTABLISH an official state religion, they're seeking the legal right to do so.

They cherry pick the Bible. Why not the U. S. constitution?

This place is new, awesome, and within spitting distance of the Cobblestone! I think I'll stay here when I come back next week.

Having written my own thesis in LaTeX, I have to say, it's so much more robust and pain-free once you understand the structure. (Also helps if your university has a template or style guide!)

I wish I'd had access to +ShareLaTeX when I was starting!

A friend and fellow trad musician is competing for funds to produce a photography book highlighting the best trad music pub in Dublin, The Cobblestone. Check it out, and if you like it, vote for her!

Very little options in terms of shopping and the whole area feels unkempt.

Went to the Harp & Fiddle in Nashville for a dinner with my team. While we had made reservations ahead of time and the space was reserved for us (with a nice welcome sign too!), it seems that the staff weren't fully prepared for our arrival. At least one of the tables hadn't been cleared from the previous guests, there was confusion about food menus, and one of the few items that were on the limited menus we were given wasn't available. The staff were trying their best, but there seemed to be a breakdown in communication between management and the wait/cook staff. The food was good and they had a good deal on local beers, but the experience was a little soured by the execution.
