A great article on how you can get a lot out of a picture with very little equipment.

Originally from Ghana, photographer DextDee Livingstone had to travel all the way to China to discover his passion for shooting portraits, but we’re sure glad that he did. Now back in Ghana, DIYP got in touch with DextDee to find out more about him, and to get some insight into how one particularly striking portrait [...]

Very handy to know for those of you that have had focus issues or wondered why the auto focus looks out of focus.

Great article on how to create the perfect composite image. This is not a tuturial on how to create one but more a guide on what to think about when gathering the images to create one. All great photos have a great foundation.

http://www.adriansommeling.com/what-you-need-to-know-about-realistic-photo-compositing-and-image-manipulation/
Photo manipulation or creating realistic composites in Photoshop isn't as hard as you might think. It's all about perspective and understanding light.

Photoshop is a great set of tolls, but how far is to far? This article is a great read.

You might need Google Translate for this one

Shutter speed is one of those settings we don't normally think to much about when it comes to creativity. This article shows you what can be done just by changing it up a bit.

We are told as photographers that the mid day sun is our enimy and should avoid at all costs but not acording to this article.

http://andyhayballphoto.com/2016-1/2016/4/11/midday-sun-april-2016
Summer is coming and that means one thing, the dreaded midday sun! Fear not people, you can use that harsh light to your advantage. Ive been asked a lot of questions lately in response to my 365 project regarding shooting in midday sun. How do you do it? Why is everything blown out when I shoot in midday sun? I figured it was best to write down some tips and tricks to help people if they are feeling its a little overwhelming (all images...

This is a great place to bring the kids if you want to keep them occupied for a while. Lots of things for kids of most ages to do, 2yrs-13yrs. I had my sons 11th birthday here not long ago and the service was great. The staff made us feel welcome and helped with everything. They even lit the candles on the cake with candle they supplied. The only thing I would say is a weakness are the prices of the refreshments.

The Glencarn Hotel is a 4 star hotel and has some of the best country acts playing there every weekend. They have a wonderful staff that goes that extra mile to help out. The food is amazing and the Sunday Carvery is out of this world. It is a great place to stay with so much to see and do on it's doorstep.
