As a realtor I deal with a lot of strange issues. but this one is particularly annoying. Are you getting weird stuff in your google analytics? Here is how to fix it!
The referral www.event-tracking.com is spam that shows up in Google Analytics. Stop it as soon as you spot it to keep clean your reports

As a Park City resident I imagine a lot of you are gearing up for the winter here or elsewhere. Here is what I found.

TireRack sells good snow tires for my car for so much less than the locals sell them for.  Here is what I was quoted for 4 tires installed and balanced (this list is even counting Salt Lake tire shops which are 30 minutes away)
$807
$850
$750
$737
$733
Pep Boys was the lowest but none of the retailers were offering me a particularly great snow tire for these prices.

Online I found a great set of tires through tirerack for 511+ shipping 60 = $571.74
Now you can get mount and balance from walmart (central SLC) for $52, but I chose to stay up in Park City, and burt brothers does it all for 80.78 for 4.
Total: $652.52 installed
So what... you saved $80 bucks big deal. Well... consider I saved 80 and I got much better snow tires than any of the shops here were offering me.

The Game of Thrones book is priced at 2 credits (as well as every other book in that series). To be fair, some of the other books I looked at, including popular titles like The Hobbit and The Hunger Games, were priced at 1 credit each. Anyway, I decided to get The Hunger Games in the end.

Here are 10 expenses that you might have expected insurers to cover. Food for thought after so many disasters over the last 10 years.

Flooding. Private insurance rarely covers flooding, so homeowners who want that protection need to get it through the federal government’s National Flood Insurance Program, which is run by FEMA. Many homeowners, though, mistakenly think that their insurance policy does cover flood damage.

Earthquakes. Just as with flooding, consumers who want earthquake coverage often need to take out an additional policy for it. Earthquake coverage is usually only an issue in areas that face a high risk of trembles, such along the San Andreas fault.

Deductibles. According to the Consumer Federation of America, deductibles are going up by as much as 2 to 5 percent. That means homeowners shell out more out-of-pocket cash before their insurance coverage kicks in.

Simultaneous events. Because of the technical term known as “anti-concurrent causation,” if two events happen at once, and one of those events, such as flooding, is not covered by insurance, then the policy might not cover damage from either event. That means flooding and wind damage that happen together could end up being very costly for a homeowner.

Multiple bids. Insurance companies often recommend specific contractors to handle repairs, but a better strategy for homeowners may be to solicit competing bids, including from contractors not associated with the insurance company.

Lost wages. Filing for coverage after damage, as well as any necessary appeals, can be time-consuming work, and can take away from work time. Insurance doesn't typically reimburse homeowners for lost wages.
A total rebuild. Most insurance policies have caps, which means they might not cover the cost of completely rebuilding a home after a fire, for example. Most homeowners, though, mistakenly think policies do cover that full cost of rebuilding.

Burst pipes. While insurance policies often cover damage caused by burst pipes, they typically don’t if the burst pipe is caused by homeowner negligence. That includes forgetting to drain pipes or leave the heat on during a winter vacation.

Required upgrades. Even if new laws require updates in undamaged parts of a home, insurance policies usually don’t cover those costs. Homeowners worried about this can take out extra “ordinance or law” coverage.

Short version: They overcharged me by DOUBLE on a break job. They attemped to talk me into additional work without looking at my car. They made fun of me, and claimed that they spent longer working on my car than they did. Long version: I got my wife's breaks changed here. I asked for 4 new break pads. They said (without looking at the car) that they would have to resurface my rotors. I said no. They persisted. I firmly said no, I just want the break pads changed. I asked what the cost would be. He said 100 bucks with the cheapest pads they offered. I agreed. Then he confirmed that I wanted all 4 changed. I said Yes. I want 4 break pads. The guy asked my address. I had just moved out here that week and I had to think about the answer. He made fun of me. Said "You don't know your own address." I was about to tell him to go #$@ himself, but I didn't have time to find another place ( I had to pick my wife up from the airport soon). I asked him how long it would take. He said it would take 45 minutes. I was surprised having changed my own breaks many times and seeing that they had no other cars. Ultimately, I agreed. After taking the tires off, no work was done on the car at all until the last 10 minutes before the promised completion time. My guess is that they didn't have the brake pads and had to wait for the local autoparts store to deliver them. When I came back in the price was double the original asking. I asked why. He said that price was just for the front. I said what the #$@ are you talking about. Anyway I paid it, because its not worth getting an assault charge on my record. The next sunday I check the local autoparts store just down the street from this place and ask them about the price of the best pads they offered. They were less than a quarter of the cost of the worse pads that this place offered. They turned me onto several good mechanics who were honest.

They saved my life. I got an infection from a small cut that nearly cost my my life when i was young. I was taken elsewhere, and several doctors misdiagnosed me with a variety of illnesses, not the least of which was hepatitis. I was sent home by each of the other doctors and told that I would be fine over time. Since they were all wrong, my health continued to slip (I had Osteomyelitis). I got to the point where I could no longer walk or stand. My parents found one doctor who said he didn't know exactly what I had but that I only had a few hours to live. He made some phone calls and before I knew it my dad was carrying me into Primary Children's. The doctors there instantly knew my symptoms and saved my life. I recall waking up and complaining about the large new scars from the surgeries that saved my life. To this day I wish I could go back and thank my doctors instead of complaining, but such are the ways of youth. Thank you to all the people there who care enough to know their trade, and who take the right risks.

Couldn't find it. This map is wrong. It is either in another building or hidden. If you go exactly where this map icon is you will not find this restaurant.

Friendly people. Good food. Affordable. The Hawaiian BBQ Chicken is good. The Chicken Katsu is my favorite. You can substitute macaroni salad for rice if you like. The macaroni salad is really good with Sriracha -- a hot sauces with the green top (it's a very mild hot sauce with a sweet flavor). If you are a light eater or just mildly hungry the kids meal is affordable and bigger than you would expect.
