Mum & I finally finished the Sagrada Familia 3D puzzle - the closest I will ever get to working on Gaudí's masterpiece.

Arrived in Barcelona around noon today. Great little B&B in the Born district. Lunch at the market included several local specialties but nothing very exotic. Have seen 2 crèche displays so far but have yet to enter a church. Can you believe it??? The coffee here is cheap and the hot chocolate is THICK and yummy!

After years of press releases on the new Schenectady Train Station, Foresight Architects FINALLY gets credit as the architects. Woohoo!
When Train No. 74 bound for New York City pulled out of Schenectady’s Union Station on Saturday, June 28, 1969, it was a sad day in the city’s long and rich railroad history.

Sometimes it's better when your firm's name doesn't appear in an article...
The state Department of Transportation will pay the firm Wendel Cos. of Amherst, near Buffalo, for the work.

I was in Jersey a week after getting my new Chevy Volt. Although I didn't need it yet, I figured I'd fill up the tank at $1.85/gallon. After 457 miles, it only took 5.156 gallons to fill me up. (That's $9.59.) I like this new car! #17Volt

As the article says, please consider joining the growing list of Americans who have made the pledge and help out those still on the waiting list.

One more good reason to go to Troy.
The wine shop brings activity to a formerly vacant space. The building is a former residence that was unused for years and suffered water damage.

A father & son architect/developer team talk about the house they created together and the benefits of living a minimalist lifestyle. Don't watch this if you are pro-suburbs. ;-)

We had leased a 2010 Insight from Lia. We took it to Lia for all scheduled service and one warranty issue and service was always great. They started contacting us about 6 months before the lease was up. One day, they called us and said they could give us a good deal on a Civic, which we were considering because the Insight is so small. They made us a very good offer, which we took on the spot. It was better than what Edmund's says was the average price people were paying for this car. Our salesman, Phil Singh, was an absolute pleasure to work with. We didn't decide which color we wanted until the next day but they had the car ready when we wanted it, took the snow tires off our Insight for us and delivered a beautiful, black, 2012 Civic just as promised. True, this dealership is a little pushier than some of the others but if you are an informed buyer and are willing to take what they need to move, you can get an excellent deal and great service. We will probably go back for our next Honda in 3 years.

(This review is for power-washing.) This was one of the easiest and most pleasant business transactions I've had in a long time. I was able to schedule an appointment within 24 hours, he showed up on time (I was late and he patiently waited for me), he gave me a good price, told me what to expect in terms of results and offered to do it the next day, due to a last minute opening in his schedule. He did a great job, even getting out some stains that we had unsuccessfully tried to remove several times. When I noticed one little spot that needed to be touched up, I mentioned it in a note with my check and the next time I looked there, it was magically gone! If you want good quality, reliable, courteous service, call Robert!

I took my vegetarian son & daughter-in-law there for lunch. Even though there was no one else there (it was late for lunch), Richard welcomed us warmly and gave us the 4-page menu to look over. So many choices! We tried 3 different vegetarian dishes and enjoyed them all. Sat at a table near the kitchen and chatted with Richard as he cooked each dish to order. The food was pretty much like you'd make at home - nothing fancy but enjoyable. One of the better vegetarian options in the Capital District. Very homey, too!

Google messed up on this one! The correct address is 1481-1/2 State St., not 2 State St.
