I've just listed the last of my Nikon lenses on e-bay. This lens is the 28-300 f/3.5-5.6g for full frame Nikon cameras. I used this lens quite a bit (although the lens is still in excellent shape). It's a very handy combination of wide to tele. I used it quite a bit when I went to auto shows since it allowed me to get both wide and up close without a lot of bother. The shot you see below was taken with a Nikon D700 and the 28-300 at 100mm. The car is a Cord of unknown vintage. You can bid on the lens here - http://www.ebay.com/itm/Nikon-Zoom-Nikkor-28-300mm-f-3-5-5-6G-ED-VR-AF-S-Lens-MIB-/381465674320?

As part of my transition from Nikon to Sony, I'm selling a Nikon 70-300mm f4 lens on e-bay - http://www.ebay.com/itm/Nikon-Zoom-Nikkor-70-300mm-f-4-5-5-6G-SWM-AF-S-VR-II-IF-ED-Lens-w-Hood-MIB-/191736649169?  Here is a shot I took with it in Chicago a couple of years ago. It's a very nice lens, both for getting closer to things that are far away, but it also works well to get close-ups of things that aren't far away. For example, I've used it at car shows to get some detail shots, hood ornaments and things like that. Anyway, if you have a full frame Nikon and are looking for a tele-zoom, check it out.

Thanks!

One of the Nikon lenses that I'm selling is the Sigma 15mm f2.8 Fisheye lens for full frame cameras. This is a great lens for capturing interesting images. I used it to capture this shot of the Oriental Theater in Chicago during the 2014 Open House Chicago event.  The lens is currently listed on e-bay, check it out if you are interested - http://www.ebay.com/itm/SIGMA-15mm-f-2-8-EX-DG-Diagonal-Fisheye-Lens-for-Nikon-Digital-SLR-MIB-/361427798990?

I'm offering another Nikon lens for sale. This one is the 50mm f1.8 and can be viewed here - http://www.ebay.com/itm/Nikon-Nikkor-50mm-F1-8-D-AF-Lens-MIB-/361427105008?

This lens was very lightly used. I just didn't use the 50 very often so this is basically in like new condition.

I have a couple more Nikon/D800 items up for sale. First is a Really Right Stuff quick-release L-bracket for the D800/D800E camera. This thing is great when used with a RRS quick release plate. Very easy to attach in either vertical or horizontal. Check it out here - http://www.ebay.com/itm/Really-Right-Stuff-BD800-L-Bracket-for-Nikon-D800-800E-DSLR-Cameras-/381463962761?

"UMMA - Old Wing"

This shot shows the Alumni Memorial Hall building on the campus of the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. The building was originally built to honor students and faculty who had died in wars. However, for years the building has house the University of Michigan Museum of Art. A few years ago an addition was made to house additional art work.

I've recently acquired a Sony a7rii camera which I'm going to use to replace a Nikon D800 that I have. For a while, I've been using a smaller mirrorless camera for travel and using the Nikon for images where I want a full frame camera. I'm going to keep using my smaller camera (an Olympus OM-D E-M1), but I'm going completely mirrorless by moving my full frame environment to the Sony. I'm impressed with the image quality of the Sony, but I have to admit that I think the Olympus beats it on usability. The camera bodies are roughly the same size, but the Olympus controls just feel better to me. It's going to take me a little while to adjust to the way the Sony works, but I like the images that I've take so far, and I like that it is much smaller than the D800 that it is replacing.

The entry way of the Millard House in Pasadena, California. The house was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright and was one of his earliest experiments with pattern block construction. The house itself is is pretty rough shape, having been damaged by the elements and earthquakes.
