+James Gifford definitely! I use mine every day for web and desktop development, and it's a rocking machine. It has a quad-core i7 and Intel Iris Pro graphics, and can be configured for 16GB of RAM. I'd definitely drop an mSATA OS drive in there; it's insanely fast.

As of a few moments ago, the Ubuntu website underwent a change. Not just any change, mind you - the countdown ended. Although the results aren't terribly surprising, we can now officially confirm Ubuntu Edge. But wait. This device comes with a twist: it's actually a project on Indiegogo.
