Amazing what can be done when smart people encounter 3D Printing.

3D Printed Spherical Gear System Sculpture
Features an elaborate network of 64 interlocking gears, the miniature sculpture is the first in a series of kinetic, 3D printed objects that explore the limitation of 3D printing as an art form.

Taken last Spring at the Cactus Garden in Balboa Park.  Being close enough to walk to the park . . . priceless.

If you want an intimate, excellent (and expensive) restaurant experience, don't go here. This lovely place is in San Diego's Gaslamp District, adjacent to the convention center. Their bread and butter is large, loud and drunk convention parties. Our meal was punctuated by more Mother F'rs than I ever care to hear again . . .and the staff did nothing. Understand: those out of town low class jerks is where they make their money and YOU DON"T MATTER. I've never left a dinner more angry. And when I complained? Nothing but defensiveness. Never again!

Ezra and Mike spent the better part of a day reworking all of the exterior locks on my new house. There was a problem that required them to come back the next day. I paid them - which, with some vendors - is not wise. But as anticipated, they were back the next day to finish up. These are good guys. You will feel immediately comfortable with them.

Astor Place Haircutters (NYC) on a much smaller scale. Quick, easy, no BS, no products to sell and a great predictable haircut every time. I have always sat in Fernando's chair though I suspect I'd get the same great cut in either of the others. Regular price is now $11 (it went up a buck some time back) and there is a M-Th discount for those over . . . 62 I think. This is a walk-in, 15 minute max haircut.

After being told it would cost more than $200 to fix my smashed Nexus 4 screen, Omar did it perfectly for about $60. Thank you.
