If Dear Fluffy were still here today and could actually speak, his advice would probably be something along the lines of, "You are the master and you decide when I will eat and when I will play and when I will get the bacon treat and when I will sleep and - SQUIRREL! - and now I will lick my balls and after that I will eat a piece of poop that I pooped on the back lawn and - SQUIRREL!..." Yeah... I'm not going to ask my dog how to live my life. I'll just take care of that myself, thanks.

Hear hear. To me this is either greatly under-utilizing/infantilizing the powerful tool that tarot is, or it's a grab for cash... Though tarot is indeed a business, there's just something that doesn't sit right with me about possibly preying on people missing/worried about their pets (or, the Crystal Shop Lady who tried to sell an "auric healing session" to a clearly distraught/confused elderly lady, at an appalling price). I've gone off on a tangeant, but this kind of silliness enrages me...

Satanism doesn't need champions: it needs strong Satanists, period. Don't mistake the lesser Satanic jihad of fighting public battles, "winning hearts and minds," or conquering people who you believe to be pretenders to, or enemies of, the Satanic Throne with the greater Satanic jihad of being the best beast you can be. Strength need not be defended, only used to accomplish great things. What are you accomplishing for yourself? Choose your Satanic jihad and win whatever battles you can, be they against others or against yourself, but be sure you know which Satanic jihad you're fighting and don't confuse it for the other.

Via Wikipedia: In his work, The History of Baghdad, Al-Khatib al-Baghdadi, an 11th-century Islamic scholar, referenced a statement by the companion of Muhammad Jabir ibn Abd-Allah. The reference stated that Jabir said, "We have returned from the lesser jihad to the greater jihad." When asked, "What is the greater jihad?," he replied, "It is the struggle against oneself."

Oh, lawdy... so, Donald Trump is now making the, "anti-racists are the real racists" argument?" <sarcasm> Yeah... that damn, dirty Hillary! She's just pandering for your votes, and spoiling you with equal treatment under law... just watch out! Next thing you know, she'll live up to her campaign promises, and she's only doing it because she wants your vote. She's the bigot-est of the bigots... </sarcasm>
Trump says Hillary Clinton is a 'bigot'

As much as Satanists embrace artificial intelligence not only for the promise of artificial companions (think "Westworld") but also overcome the innate limitations of a human system (such as AI's application to law enforcement in the realm of Pentagonal Revisionism), it's important to remember that without proper oversight, AI programmed by humans will have human bias. How does one remove the human from the machine? And vice versa, how does one create a better human in the machine?

Language contains bias so do machines learning from it
Nice paper/research that shows that language has bias which means that machine learning that uses language will have that bias as well. This and more in attached blog and paper.
I have a new draft paper with Aylin Caliskan-Islam and Joanna Bryson titled Semantics derived automatically from language corpora necessarily contain human biases. We show empirically that natural language necessarily contains human biases, and the paradigm of training machine learning on ...

I'm so glad to have Jes Gore on the blog today! I pre-ordered her deck, the Shades of Magick Tarot, last month and when it arrived I was blown away by it's beauty. It shuffles like a dream and looks gorgeous in a spread, we all like a good looking spread, right?! Enjoy this short interview with ...

So a Tarot client recently told me that she thinks I look like Scott Disick. Naturally, Scott Disick can't match my roguishly good looks, but I'm not sure I see the similarity. What do you think? Time to vote!

Interesting. The reviewer generally liked it, but didn't think it was much of a Tarot deck. If you like the style, then you could always get as an oracle deck instead of a Tarot deck.
The Lost Code of Tarot is an unusual package by Andrea Aste, who has created a fascinating parallel world with its own characters, history and symbolism.
